Brett I. Phillips My initials are bip šŸ¤” I like to play devil’s advocate and take the contrary position.

Yeah that’s an odd sentiment. Does a progressive view lose or gain value purely because that view holder also likes bitcoin?

You’re not asking the right question Neo. The right question is ā€œwhat does it even mean to be verified on nostr?ā€

To me, having an ā€œecash as a primitiveā€ as you say, means you are trying to pay for low level operations.

At those lower levels, many times, there is not enough context to properly calculate an incurred cost.

For storage, sure the initial write or subsequent reads can easily be given an associated per byte cost, but how do you handle timed storage, ie month over month cost.

I actually think Network bandwidth is the easier of the facets to attribute cost to.

I’ve heard of trying to use altcoin gains to get more bitcoin but never have I heard of using bitcoin gains to get altcoins.

Oh wait infinite money printer right?

Stake BTC, get Altcoin, Trade for BTC, Stake BTC, get more Altcoin, Trade for BTC, repeat.

Yeah this will end well for sure.

Asking for a friend…

How about I post about whatever I want? And how dare I post about some of the most important topics of this century. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Speaking as a leader of software teams, some cross training is nice in order to spread knowledge and insight but I’d prefer to have team members be subject matter experts in their disciplines.

What’s a good router for upgrading a home network? I want to have full control and be able to set up different subnets, static IPs, etc for cameras, devices, blah blah.

Please don’t recommend some Google or Amazon bs. #asknostr #networking #security
