I know, I edited this but not every client support this
May it's a good idea to find an anology in real life which is related to the topic
in order for understanding and point out the importance.
And in my point of view the lightning part is missing,
cause lightning is also an side chain, imho it has to be also in the table as an reference for an good secure side chain solution.
Everything else is well written and brings the topic on top.
Nicely done 👍
May u should start with phoenix:
its an very easy self custody solution.
U hold ur private keys.
Ur wallet acts as an own node and phoenix as an LSP and mange the lightning channel stuff. and the features are almost State of art like bolt12 support etc.
The downside, phoenix has no NWC implementation, so if u want to zap from an nostr client directly with an self custody u need Alby,Zeus etc.
Does coinos
support nostr remote signing ?
There dozens off possibilities:
For example:
U can create an wizard with questions and then u give an wallet recommendation.
Or an matrix may with 2 versions for experts/beginners.
I think it's a good idea no matter what u would do or not , to use an view on things in an way that u can an explains like an child ten/five years old.
Hello
No Ive done sone test drives on my devices with several wallets.
In an automatic way ? I think it's difficult may If u're an person ( or know one) with good dev. Skills.
My advice is that u should just playing around for urself first with some wallets and when possible to use the testnet.
Then I think u will realize if u would digging deeper for an community project or just for u. Or sth in-between.
So, what do u mean with privacy/security invading features
Excellent app. It works.
After having multiple in depth conversations with the main developer over privacy and security concerns. I discovered that he is one shady pompous egotistical son of a bitch. I would never trust my privacy and security with him, or that app in a million years.
So this is one of those yup. I know it works well. If I knew kotlin, I would fork it, remove all the extra woke shit, including the privacy and security invading features, and just maintain it myself. However, that is way more effort than I want to deal with. So I just refuse to use it outright.
Kind of sucks balls, but that's just the way it is. Sincerely though. Thank you for the suggestion. Under normal circumstances it would have been a great one too. Have a wonderful GN.
Primal, amethyst, coracle ( highly customizeable)
1. Read some sources cross the Internet (
2. Security, open source, usability, anonymity, custody
3. I have compared some software wallets like cake wallet ,electrum, nunchuk sparrow, wasabi wallet ,but no hw wallets.
4. Athena alpha: https://www.athena-alpha.com/
But what u want to choose depends on what u want to do.
Would u like playing around, hold ur btcs for a long time, obscure ur funds etc.
For me all looks realistic, except from the first it looks like more an messenger.
I think.
to buy gift cards like Amazon with lightning/Bitcoin gains the acceptance for Bitcoin.
The other approach is just an other way in which kind of digital form u hold ur Bitcoin.
Trying to create a new wallet in nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5
What’s all this? #asknostr

If u want to use zeus create an coinos account create an nwc secret link and connect it over nwc in zeus ( just paste the secret code in ur nwc zeus wallet).
It`s straight forward
Misty breeze does support individual lightning addresses
I've seen people embed shared podcasts or episodes from nostr:nprofile1qqsx2wyjt6lmvc05rrvv05r5hm3w3t7h0pcpmkyswrpd4ymd2u09tscpvemhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0dec82c33wc6h2enedq6xc6m9wdkxw7rcvd3kceecvccxs7np0f5xzaehwfehy6rkvech27r6d5exv6ekx33nwvngwpengdtwxpmr20mzwfhkzerrv9ehg0t5wf6k2qguwaehxw309ahx7um5wgknqvfwvfhkcapwda38xetjwejhyy87u5r into their nostr notes.
Just the fountain link doesn't do much. What am I missing?

Fountains reward program is based on lightning and u can earn some funds as podcaster and listener.
It's more the nostr way.
Episode.fm
Shows u where u can listen the podcast.

So, a lightning channel is simply a UTXO in a 2:2 multisig. When I transfer bitcoin to myself on-chain, this channel opens between me and nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 or Phoenix
What exactly is liquidity then? How exactly does it work? Is it the data cap on my UTXOs?
Pls explain
U could use also an another apology from 2 glasses with water:
When u swap several times ( and also vice) versa certain amount of liquid from one to the other without loss any liquid. This is ur channel.
If u close the channel, then u swap ur glass of water in an bottle.
And u loose some liquid in this process ( that's the on chain transaction for ur sats to an Bitcoin Adress (the bottle).
And forced close is like the same as above but u get ur bottle of water later for several reasons, like one glass was destroyed. that's for ex. channel partner isn't reachable or an bug on their lightning node etc.
I think an all-in-one package for collaboration on open source is hard to find.
So may u have to use sth. Additional like jami https://jami.net
