The fable of the sun and the wind, by Aesop.
As winter was about to clear for spring, the Sun and the Wind had an argument of who was the stronger of the two.
Spotting a lone wanderer struggling over a ragged mountainside, the Sun and the Wind decided that the strongest of them should be able to wrest the coat from the stranger's back.
As the Wind started to blow and tear in the wanderer's clothing, the wanderer pulled his coat even tighter over himself and found a crevice where he could shield himself from its reach. This is impossible said the Wind. He's just too stubborn.
When the Wind had finished, the Sun gently dispersed the clouds and started to radiate. As the wanderer had left his hiding place and was carrying on over the mountain, he smiled up toward the sun and nonchalantly threw his coat over his shoulder.
💯 We are privileged to have an array of options and many great beginnings will not come without imperfections.
Lifting the eyes toward the horizon we uncover the hidden potential of both useful tools and the abilities of determined individuals, channeling their visions for a free and sovereign future.
Liberty is the vector. As internal compasses are calibrated, the path toward *more liberty* becomes distinguished from the path of *less liberty*. As the path toward liberty needs more hearts and minds, a positive, inviting message lightens the way.
I was just happy that I could translate the Polish title.😆
The EU will likely ban us Europeans from Twitter and a decentralized social media is better to build upon long term. As an artist and creator I have better control over my work here at Nostr.
Since I publish my art under pseudonym, I naturally can't show an ID to prove my identity if Twitter demands that; I can only show proof-of-work to prove that I made my art, which in a free market should be enough.
I don't want corrupt central regulators to make decisions regarding my liberties. That said, I still enjoy Twitter since it has better reach and lots of interesting people.
Greetings, Buddha.
Here's a meditational journey I put together with some of my artwork last year:
😆

Right, we have never met and yet you know how I will react to a variety of impressions. Spectacular.
I must be using the blue bird differently since I have mainly positive experiences. I keep a couple of private lists that provide me with bitcoin, liberty oriented accounts, art and a list for cats, lynxes, servals and fennek.
Yup, the fable of the sun and the wind.👍

It is also bizarre that social security and income security combined amounts to ~79% of the individual income tax.

Low budget art is a new use case, just like fast food is a new type of food vs quality food.
Sure, it all depends on the use case. Those are all new use cases where there isn't much budget involved.
You could make similar artwork in 3D and you would have more control over the process, especially with paintover. Modern tools allow humans to work quite fast and with a flexibility that AI lacks. AI art is a new genre of art and doesn't really replace previous genres; it just adds a new one.
Tools can be used for a myriad of purposes and the wielder is responsible. A woman protecting herself with a firearm against a larger attacker is an example of technology as a power equalizer.
David picking up the tech that Goliath dropped and crafting a tool that frees David from Goliath is in the same way an equalization of power. Humanity can overcome the threat of the stomping of a central planning boot on the human face.
Checks out.
Centralized dependencies are single points of failure.
Yeah, bad decision from Zion, I am also not paying $12/month. I suggested to them to have free creator accounts with paid tiers for larger hosting space.
