Yes, you can. On Iris; go to Settings, Network, and then select the relays that you want to post to. Anyone you give access to could rebroadcast the notes to a larger set of relays. So it's only as private as your trusted circle.

You could also just DM yourself and it would be encrypted.

I'm stuck under my sons. After a fitful night, the infant is finally asleep so I'm holding him and letting my bride get some rest. My 4 year old couldn't sleep either so with my other hand I'm holding his until he goes back to sleep. Rather than waking early, working out and hitting the ground running, I'm sitting here holding them both, listening to the birds, watching the morning light slowly grow. They both just snored, I am blessed.

You need to upload the video to somewhere like YouTube and then include the link in the post. As far as I know YouTube is the only service that most clients support for embedding/previewing otherwise it'll just be a link like Odyssee below.

Kids are funny. it's 77 degrees in the house, the 4 y.o. insists on long sleeve pajamas and covers despite running around without a shirt all day. The 6 y.o. was wearing two dresses and tights all day but now wants short sleeves and no covers.

Question for those who have grown Jerusalem Artichokes. Are these little guys edible? I grew some last year and didn't harvest any because other things came up. This spring some came up a little beyond where I wanted them, when I pulled them out these two tubers came up. I figure they are edible so maybe a better question is are they palatable at this point in the year. Thanks

I concur with this opinion, wolf spider. You're more likely to hurt yourself jumping out of your skin as he runs across the floor than be bit.

Add just enough cream to cover the bottom of the cold skillet. Put on medium heat, once the cream starts to bubble, add in the eggs and cook until eggs are desired level of doneness, or until the cream starts to caramelize. The less cream you have the quicker it'll caramelize and the runnier the yolk, more like an fried egg. You can also add salt, pepper or whatever seasoning you like but i usually am too hungry to bother.

Eggs poached/fried in heavy cream. Perfect way to break an 19 hour fast. I can't remember who showed me this but I'm glad they did.

🤔 it's possible to just publish a note to an account that no one follows it's not private but if it's just raw data, no PII, it isn't really a concern. I could also try sending myself a DM and see if the data is easily extractable. I'll have to see if i can get it to run on a small microcontroller.

When I'm too tired to play with my kids or they need a low key activity before bed, I occasionally will sketch a couple of pictures for them to color. It's great, half the time is spent just coming up with a topic and what flourishes to include. Once it's done they color and I zone out. They don't know/care how crappy my drawings are, the imaginative exercise and bonding are enough.

Not sure about the ODroid, the Pi 4 is fine I think the general recommendation is to use the 8gb ram model but the 2 or 4 should be ok.
