had a boox for a few years and 6 months ago switched to a color** bigme. They are both decent but there is always ongoing community concerns about their closed source and what data they phone home.

Do you have v2h from your car? We are still waiting for tesla to deliver in Australia. Was promised end 2024. Still will have the house battery (12kwh) but car backup (70kwh) is excellent for extended periods.
Try antihistamine and see if it makes a difference. The bigger the red the more histamine and effect for some people. I suspect the longer the years of even casual consumption builds up. Also if it proves relevant check low/high histamine foods.

It's time to start my GrapheneOS journey. Any tips/recommendations for starting?
My plan:
1) Use the owner profile only for administrative purposes.
2) Whenever possible, use nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8 and Obtanium.
3) Avoid unnecessary apps.
4) Don't be too restrictive; it's a midterm project.
Make sure you follow the flashing instructions closely. I am a terrible RTFM person but the docs were accurate when I had a few glitches (on Brave for macos) at flashing time.
Setup a fake mail for Google play to have a clean start if needed for some apps not on fdroid. You can delete it later.
I got stuck cos authy would not install and I use it for lots of apps.

Yes AUDUSD got a bit of a bounce over the last week, but the last 6months has been brutal (AUDEUR and USD) based on the first two reasons I mentioned.

A couple of months ago I set up DNS filtering for our home network using https://github.com/hagezi/dns-blocklists.git and the pro.txt list specifically. Did it with the full expectation that it will cause issues and I will have to dedicate some time to fixing those for the family as everyone is online a lot.
In fact it has not caused a single thing we use to stop working, except regularly causing various things to log failures to track. Some site tries to redirect me to ads, they fail to load. VSCode tries to send stats (?) to Microsoft and logs error in reaching it (but keeps working). All sorts of Windows and Apple tracking gets nuked too, about 1 in 5 dns requests gets killed in a sample of about 8 million requests.

I've enjoyed your references to Vervaeke on the No Solutions interviews. Similar to your comments, I've been privileging the "embodied" aspect of 4e cognition as a unique edge humans have**.
But that changed last week when Anthropic alignment team reported the llms seem to solve problems in another domain before translating back to language answers (in a chat/code response).
It's credible that another domain/dimension of cogniton exists ( iirc JV mused about 5e). E.g memetics, archetypes per jung/Campbell may be a legit dimension that could compete with "embodied" cognition as a valid way to understand the world.
That video by JV is over a year ago, it was impressive (if somewhat fervent) at the time. I'd love to hear if he feels his views have changed.
