this sounds like the right place to me, its the relays the client connects to to read from and write to. I don't see why I wouldn't use this.

I should be able to fix this so it shows your entire contact list soon for relays that support that

running a node doesn't give you expertise on how to engineer the system, why should anyone listen to you?
your node relays blocks, once its in a block you will start relaying it to peers. This is basic stuff
You will do this regardless on a knots node, just the same as a core node
I read it perfectly. It’s a fact that once it is inevitably in a block that your node will start relaying that exact transaction you already downloaded and rejected from your mempool 10 minutes earlier.
They would still relay it, just 10 minutes later
If core makes it harder then people will build around it. Core is just accepting economic reality while knots want: to try to censor and control something they really have no control over. Its communism.
