Biblical types are awesome. I think that strikes at the heart of it. Fundamentally, I think his betrayal is a replaying of Judah and Joseph, Cain and Abel, etc. He destroyed his brother because he could not master the sin that was crouching behind him.
I've been thinking it'd be cool to have a Roku or Fire TV app 😬.
Tried to look into it. Apparently, fire tv can already take in web apps.
Interesting idea.
But, I do think it's pretty clear from the narrative that he was motivated by greed. With references to him stealing from the group's collective purse prior to the betrayal and the fact that he was paid the infamous 30 pieces of silver to turn over Jesus.
Sadly I agree with u.. nothing beats the Mac for me 😩.
Screen, os, and some software too. Although, most of my stack are web apps now.

+ item: New logo!
Linktr 1.0 "Community Edition".
I've been working a bit more on linktr, I've just pushed the 1.0 release, from here on my intention is to leave this version as a community edition, where anyone can self-host it on their own server, and start working on the 100% nostr version of linktr, where it will be rewritten using NDK, and there will be no need to self-host the application, as everything will work through nostr notes.
Release notes:
- Added new configuration parameters
- Fixed NOTES_TO_SHOW
- New styles
- Bug fixes
- Updated README with better deployment instructions
https://github.com/gzuuus/linktr
There are still some bugs to fix and the code is not the most elegant in the world, I will improve it little by little, but the project is foss with MIT licence and you are all invited to do PRs and suggestions :)
This looks awesome; excited to see ur progress!
Nostr's long-form notes are like the short ones in that they can be read by any client looking for them.
That's the beauty of the interoperability 😁
Lol, but I actually like this unironically 🤣.
I think it embraces the pleb ethos. I would want just the head though for the logo.
I like this progress bar idea.
I suppose there could be zap goals for notes and/or zap goals for profiles. A progress bar would probably be easier to display on a profile page, but maybe there can be a special fundraiser kind of post that shows a zap progress bar like how the poll posts have their own format.
Or maybe if the user sets up a zap goals on a post the zap counter could show "21k / nk sats"
And it was degoogled? With like graphene or calyx?
Another example? From nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft neec bunker. The way it gets handled though is that it becomes a dm.

I've been wanting to make progress on a logo for Habla.news, so that there can be an icon for the nostr account ( nostr:npub1048qg5p6kfnpth2l98kq3dffg097tutm4npsz2exygx25ge2k9xqf5x3nf ) and the website.
Here are a few drafts of some different directions we could go with (See attached image).
1:
- Clean and not distracting (It's dark, but could do the same thing w/ a light theme)
- Maybe a little boring and doesn't give an idea of what the app does other than having to do w/ text
2:
- Clean and not distracting (It's light, but could do the same thing w/ a dark theme)
- It's supposed to show the "h" and the circles in such a way that you can kinda see the outline of an ostrich, but not sure if that really lands
3:
- This one is graphical and emphasizes that Habla is a place where conversation can happen
- Not sure if that should be the emphasis of the app branding vs writing
4:
- Graphical feather pen showing both that Habla is a writing platform and is related somehow to the imagery of a bird/ostrich
- It might be kinda generic though with lots of writing apps using a feather pen
*Please give feedback on these! Colors and details can definitely be further refined, but wanted to think about the shape first.

Ditto; it's a new frontier for design
nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q,
Not sure if this is the best venue for support, but why is the publish button disabled?
Am I doing something wrong?
I think the UI and UX implies how it will be used. Habla is like medium, so people will post long articles.
What I think is missing is static pages (~websites), like my homepage, or company homepage, or just content registries.
One could imagine that you could share a book this way. I'm imagining something like this experience https://thenetworkstate.com/preamble
That's cool; I've been thinking of doing a bible app on Nostr which would be a lot like this I think.
