So they told me that for the lightning funds But I had some on chain stuff in there as well and I didn't know if that same thing applied to that or not.
The short story is the wallet was not working when trying to make a purchase, my channels were inactive and glitchy so I couldn't manually close them and I uninstalled it knowing that I had my backup phrase already. Perhaps that wasn't the right thing to do but I'm still new to nodes, lightning etc.
I went through zeus's recovery process and I just haven't seen the funds show up, nor did I see any indication of closed channels so I was a little concerned.
Anybody have any tips on recovering a beta Zeus node? I have my recovery phrase, but I can't seem to recover the wallet for some reason.
I've gone through Zeus' process on their website and no success yet.

My wife and I run a private relay on our nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll. You don’t have to be technical to do it and they’re a stand up company too. I’ve had one or two instances where I needed to reach out to their support team and they’ve been very good about getting the issue resolved.
Oh shit, that looks like an amazing solution. I might just invest in one of those! I plan very soon on beginning to produce content and I want to build out this business on the nostr network, including a private community relay. This might just fit the bill.
Open question to the nostr community:
How would someone go about setting up a relay? I don't have any specific coding knowledge although I can stumble my way around just fine.
What kind of hardware can I use? Should I be using server hardware or could I use an old laptop? What kind of relay would be easiest to implement for a beginner? Ideally I would set up a few in future, maybe a paid community relay and a personal one? Maybe others if needs warrant.
I've done a bit of reading on nostr.net but I'm still not certain where to start. I genuinely want to learn more about this protocol and the best way I find would be to jump into the deep end and just set up a relay from scratch.
If anyone could help, that would be amazing!

I have a GPU rig mining FLUX right now and I plan on converting to BTC next bull run.
I used to mine ETH and convert to BTC and for the longest time it wasn't worth it to run the miner. Now I can justify it.
I haven't tried nicehash if you want my honesty.
I want to get the 28-70 lens. I've put a LOT of thought into it and that lens is the best way to bring my R6 into the RF glass arena.
Right now I'm just adapting older Canon glass and although that's been working well for me, it would be good to keep progressing and update my tools over time.
Simultaneously, I'm keeping an eye open for older stuff as well. I want to practice woth non-professional gear so I can show people that you don't need to spend a ton of money to get great results.
