Agree. We're only as good as our human built templates.
It's my hope that the two will converge someday soon. Not into one massively broken client, but into people that know what they're doing using these tools to build even better, non broken apps.
additionally, having chat history is sometimes actually a really good thing. when contexts get too large, things start getting expensive. starting from scratch is a good idea and allows things to work better. i do this often when using mkstack from the command line.

i've had a few other complexities happen that makes me wan to stop using it and go for something similar like Nostr Connect.
yep. lots of broken stuff with on-boarding and the sign-in process. it hasn't gotten much better for the last 2.5 years either. we haded bunkers, which make things more secure, but also adds a layer of complexity. we need more ideas.

i had that happen on reinstall or when i added a new account to alby. it generated new keys, so when i went to primal, i signed in to a brand new account automatically. i was confused too until i realized what happened.
