The signal here is great. Seems to attract a slightly different kind of people that have purpose. And some wicked smart people that I’m lucky to be able to interact with.
Unfortunately, though I’m very interested now, my technical literacy is super low. It was not impressed upon me when I was young. So I’m trying my best to gain some technical skills I should have had long ago
Impressive. I didn’t have that kind of realization until a couple years ago. I’m interested in the oldest technology (agriculture, hand tools, human scale architecture, etc.) and the newest tech like btc, encryption, all the freedom tech. Everything in between seems very boring to me…perhaps even harmful.
Did any particular books motivate this lifestyle shift? Walden? Death of Christian culture?
Atheists seem to fixate on the discoveries of man, particularly how math allows us to understand the universe…but don’t seem to ever wonder if math is just the language of God.
When will the trade be over?
Take full responsibility/custody of your health, money, data, spirit= freedom that humans have never before seen
Highly recommend dabbling in pressure canning and fermenting (the original pickling)
Work like a peasant, eat like a king.

I think the key is to find other users that joined at similar time/have low follow count and interact with them. Creates a micro community that will slowly boost engagement. It’s a long game
Food, money, comms. If you lose control of these, someone else owns you.
They got misery addiction. Truth is way too painful for lots of people
Developed a little game, based on Bitcoin blocks.

TIL I know very little about this stuff
Digital freedom gates are closing. Scary future for everybody ignoring it (and for us too maybe)
The price you pay for convenience is your privacy.
The value of your privacy: priceless.
The west is falling.…Bread and circuses. When it comes to the majority, things don’t change
I struggle with this. The U.S. didn’t come to fruition that way but I do think some of the ideas it was funded upon can easily get warped into this isolationist ideology
Yeah, I’m seeing a disturbing amount of twitter behavior on primal.
We drown in entertainments to avoid the silence where God speaks, then complain when we can’t hear him.
They’re not addicted to content, they are starving for meaning.
Stablecoins are not stable. They’re guaranteed to lose value because they are pegged to the U.S. dollar, which loses value constantly as the supply of money increases (inflation).
Compared to other fiat currencies, U.S. dollar stablecoins may *appear* to be “stable,” but when measured against Bitcoin, they are guaranteed-loss coins, as nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe calls them.
It doesn’t take a genius to work this out.
“Straight down coins” just doesn’t quite have the same appeal
I wonder what no social coiners would say about us
