Find a better life ahead.

This is the third year I have tried to start native Rivercane Bamboo. It doesn't look like much yet, but it is growing this time!

Earth Tools in Kentucky is the premier dealer in the US for Grillo and BCS. I suggest working through them unless you have a local dealer you like.

Today was the day to shovel out the chicken coop.

I moved it with my Grillo two-wheel tractor and power barrow attachment since I couldn't get the truck and trailer where I needed it to go. Measured in pick up loads, there must have been about four loads worth.

Maybe, there are look-alikes. None of them harmful as far as I know.

Carnivore can be a keto diet if you eat enough fat, as you probably should, IMO. It is, IMO the easiest and arguably the cleanest of the keto diets.

There is nothing wrong with easing into it slowly or eating a diet that leans that way, but if you are looking for metabolic healing as I am, you can't expect to get say 75% of the benefits when you are eating, say, 75% less sugar or 75% keto, IMO.

One thing I did prior before I was planning to go carnivore, was to take berberine. I must have been on it for 4 to 6 months and lost a modest amount of weight with no other changes. Personally, I think that helped ease my transition to carnivore.

Lots of people combine various forms of fasting with great results. Myself I do not recommend it during the first three weeks of carnivore or keto since there are so many other changes going on. On the contrary with carnivore, I suggest considering eating as much and often as reasonably possible in the first few weeks to avoid cravings and low energy from not eating enough. I'm seven weeks in and eating somewhat less often, but I don't think I'm past the insulin resistance or completely fat adapted yet. Personally I probably won't try anything beyond accidental/incidental intermittent fasting until then. At this point I don't expect that to happen before the 3-month mark, possibly a good bit later. Granted if I were working towards different goals I might look at it very differently. Either way I'm still learning, both by observing others and my own self.

Lots of people on carnivore eat cheese and eggs. Some will only eat aged cheese, myself I seem to actually do better on mild cheese. The only caveats are that you might not lose weight as fast with cheese, and if you have a food intolerance to milk products or eggs you won't see the results you were hoping for.

It's probably less than the typical person spends on food if you count snacks and fast food.

On the other hand, if you are getting beans and rice in 50 lb bags, it is a LOT more.

I do add a good sea salt liberally.

I eat mostly hamburger at around $4/lb. I love good smashburgers. I also eat some mild cheese at around the same cost per pound as well as some other meats, some eggs, and an occasional avocado or guacamole.

So I'm spending maybe $60/ week. I am a fairly big guy and fairly physically active.

I'm loving nostr and using Amethyst as my main client. I really appreciate what you are doing. It is working awesome for early stage software. Not every feature I could dream of, but highly useable and fun.

We are on the electric grid with our own well and septic. As it turns out, our electric is really cheap, and it was already set up. We also have an LP tank.

I might consider solar for stuff farther away from the house though.

Still waiting for the vaccine for the epidemic of fat, sick, and nearly dead?

Ask your doctor about carnivore.

Or just do like I did almost 2 months ago and change your life yourself. I have a good direct primary care doc, I'll let them know eventually.

I just completed the Prescribed Burning for Missouri Land Managers Course. All I have to do now is attend a prescribe to burn field exercise to complete the requirements.

Anyone else doing it?
