Don't get me wrong, I still love playing chess with my children but I am no where near competing level outside of my city.

I have never read that book but one of my favorites is Positive Discipline. Less about punishing more about supporting & finding solutions.

Wish I could have joined but instead I have weak jpy and a marathon to run.

What do you do in your time off? PETA black ops missions? Learning to fly an airplane? Gardening? I don't agree with a lot you say but you are still a very interesting person.

My thought exactly. I think: NO. Not really.

I watched it on YouTube at 1.5x-2x speed. Saved me a lot of sats and time.

Better ways to do this than lock oneself in some tower without natural light for 8 hours a day (min) for 3 days and to top it off the guests pay Japanese prices.

For someone completely isolated from reality and who possesses no social skills, you are correct. But real social bonds are much stronger than random posts. As for the Japanese prices, Jack paid for everything except accommodations (hotels and lodging).

I think this is missing from society. Everyone should visit a slaughter house or have to gut and prepare an animal that they consume. People are being disconnected from their food and lose respect and don't see the sacrifice. I am not anti-meat but believe in smaller portions and more decentralization. So yes, one might have to slaughter their own pet chicken, pig or dog.

Depends on the venue, in sports where there is a physical advantage, no. Even men's sports have separate categories. Why not just create a trans category?

I also like kojira's approach... He made his relay for only Japanese IP addresses, so when I change my VPN to Japan I can see a completely different community.

A zap challenge to you, zap anybody every time Harry Potter talks about his zap scar hurting or bothering him. Zap on my fren!
