So I haven’t really paid attention to zapping on here since they took it away. (iPhone) I know there’s a work around but I haven’t gotten around to setting it up mostly because I can still zap from my desktop. But I just realized I can zap the account just not the note? What? When? And why???

Over the past few weeks, I've been teaching myself leather working.

As a knife guy and outdoorsman, I have many blades that need sheaths and several pieces of random gear that could use custom pouches. It tends to be time consuming and expensive to seek out the perfectly sized pouch or have custom sheaths made. Hence the decision to make things myself.

These are just a few examples of what I've made so far. I don't consider anything I've made yet to be of sellable quality, but it is all perfectly functional.

Thoughts and feedback please.

Here’s my latest and greatest. This is a design I’ve had in my head for years and finally got around making it a reality. This is a two layer design with shallow pockets cut out for the cards. Then a 1/8” gloss white acrylic on top of the black substrate. Frame is maple stained black, mounted in a floating frame style. I’m planning to do a few different styles and design within this theme and see if there’s a market for them. #grownostr #woodworking #design #diy

The one thing that is hard to find elsewhere (which I don’t understand why this isn’t more common) is the automatic withdrawals.

Otherwise the banking & custodian side of the entire industry is horribly centralized with extremely few options. There was a great piece I covered like 3ish years ago (I’m gonna try and find it) about how bad the chokepoints are with how everyone uses like the same 2 banks and custodians.

I don’t understand why he’s so mad and Swan. I don’t know about all the marketing stuff he mentioned but I do know it’s just a simple exchange. Bitcoin only which I respect and the auto withdrawal is nice. That’s all I’ll ever need so it’s perfect for me.

Just finished up my little shoe shelf. Left over curly maple for the legs and white oak stained black with India ink for the shelves. Trying a cheaper version of a popular hard oil wax finish. Time will tell if the 30% price difference is worth it.

Is this general layout going to be an issue for a hydroponic system? Planning on salad greens and some other experiments. (Cukes, strawberries, cucamelons to start)

That will be fine for most greens for a few weeks. Once they start to really fill out the leaves will be pretty crowded but I don’t think that’ll cause any problems. The lettuce types got big pretty fast when I did a Kratky system a few times.

What's the "AC Infinity"? Just a fan?

Ac infinity makes fans and other stuff mostly for hydroponics initially I believe. I have a tent of theirs and a few fans. There fans are great and much better than cheaper ones of similar size.

As in earning sats? If so the biggest one for me is the fold card. I also use fountain for podcasts and lately I’ve been using sMiles. That tracks distance walked and gives you a tiny bit of sats. I’m on my feet just about all day and I average about 10k steps according to them which usually nets me about 15 ish sats. Not much but I think one day those 15 sats will buy me a fancy coffee.

Now that I see the other comments I’d like to change my answer to Swan lol.
