I've spent years using Plex as my home media server, running into every issue imaginable. Today it just refused to work at all.

So I decided to try Jellyfin and got it up and running in 30 minutes and it runs perfectly as a drop-in replacement for Plex. I should have just done this to begin with FML.

The only feature I miss in Jellyfin is support for client certificates / MTLS in the Android clients.

And maybe better search filters.

This brings up a good point. A lot of the users who comment negative things about Bitcoin probably has 0 Bitcoin and has never used Bitcoin.

Nostr should add an option to add a Bitcoin verified link and badge on our profiles.

How do we become verified? We would have to sign a Bitcoin transaction with a minimum amount of Bitcoin and keep it there. Let's says 100 dolalrs. The transaction would be signed with our Nostr profile public key/username. This would allow us to see if the user at least has some Bitcoin. It would also help with bots and allows us to filter profiles with 0 Bitcoin. Bot farms can't afford 100 dollars a profiles.

Das Problem scheint mir die Gleichsetzung von Kapitalismus und Korporatismus/Vetternwirtschaft zu sein und zu behaupten, dass Libertäre Anhänger dessen sind.

Ersteres ist das was man auch im gängigen Diskurs so wiederfindet und eigentlich schon eine irreführende Fehlinterpretation, da man anfängt über grundverschiedene Dinge zu sprechen...

Bspw. würde das Haftungsprinzip im Kapitalismus dafür sorgen, dass der Handlungsspielraum stärker eingeschränkt ist, da man für Fehler selbst die vollen Konsequenzen trägt und es keine Bailouts gibt – dafür darf man die Früchte ebenfalls selber ernten. Genau das Gegenteil ist im "Crony Capitalism" der Fall: man inzentiviert Übertretungen, da im Schadensfall die Haftung von der Gesellschaft getragen wird, weil diese Akteure "too big to fail" sind.

Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Privatisieren von Gewinnen und Sozialisieren der Kosten ist ein Prinzip, das weder dem Kapitalismus entspricht, noch von Libertären unterstützt wird.

Es lohnt sich näher hinzusehen, als Startpunkt empfehle ich Thorsten Polleits "Der Antikapitalist", da es sich genau diesen Kritikpunkten widmet, die sich oftmals als Fehlinterpretationen und Begriffsumdeutungen entpuppen.

Wie Bitcoin das fixt und warum es genau das Werkzeug seien kann, wieder zu mehr Ausgewogenheit und Gerechtigkeit zu kommen, das wäre ein ganz eigenes Thema ;)

Die Frage ist halt, ob Kapitalismus nicht zwangsweise zum Korporatismus führt, weil die mit dem meisten Geld automatisch den größten Einfluss auf die Politik haben.

BASIC SCHEME

The recipient publishes their silent payment address, a single 32 byte public key:

X = x*G

The sender picks an input containing a public key:

I = i*G

The sender tweaks the silent payment address with the public key of their input:

X' = hash(i*X)*G + X

Since i*X == x*I (Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange), the recipient can detect the payment by calculating hash(x*I)*G + X for each input key I in the blockchain and seeing if it matches an output in the corresponding transaction.
