I'll have to check that out next time!
When in Japan, do sumo
Makes sense! Thank you for sharing. Let's keep moving forward
Thank you for the response. Couldnt agree more β family always comes first!
For me, a strength & conditioning coach, a tough practice room, brutal honesty from my coaches, and film study were the most helpful.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to help others grow.
Since I wrestled half of my life, I figured low hanging fruit is to help jiujitsu athletes improve their stand up game with online wrestling courses. But I'm curious what else might help
~For my wrestling and jiujutsu people~
What resources (outside of practice) would help you along your journey?
What would bring you the most value?

That's alright. Followed ya. Heal up!
I'm looking for some as well! Reddit tells me Carpe Diem and Tribe Tokyo are solid
My "Master the Sweep Single for Jiujitsu" wrestling course is now up on youtube.

The sweep single is a lower risk way to take down opponents your size or larger.
I thought about making my courses paid but I like the idea of open sourcing wrestling techniques while finding new ways to monetize as I go
The value-for-value model is top of mind.
The idea in this context is that I will provide value for grapplers β and that's it.
And if grapplers get value out of it, a certain percentage will give back.
All I have to do is ask.
It's easier said than done...but it's a model worth exploring.
Where are my nostr wrestlers and jiujitsu people at?

First time in Japan! Time to see what the Land of the Rising Sun is all about
When your friend sets up his own node and you're no longer his Uncle Jim
Made my first wrestling course! https://payhip.com/b/LUDSE
It covers skills I've been teaching at the jiujitsu studio I train at. It's a free, short course for new and old grapplers.
Making more detailed ones in the near future πͺ
Some highlights from my first jiujitsu competition https://youtube.com/shorts/fnEF9155TMI?si=y8NpvQBTKNKMszo4 . Looking forward to my next one! Need to get a bitcoin themed rashguard π
