Any ideas about using dried dandelion? I've got a lot of leaf and root waiting for a use.
Is this only desktop based? Can't figure out how to use it on brave mobile...
Did an interview with nostr:npub1v5g4gkhazw4g7ncm9avpf8all4r3mgfw2fz0g9erzl6srv0vsz4sj9nsq4 for Bitcoin Magazine about our permaculture homestead and how we've integrated Bitcoin into our lifestyle. If you like what we are doing here, this offers some more detail about our adventure.

Wild Caught Lake Michigan King Salmon

Jalapeno mustard soy sauce marinade, topped with fresh homegrown garlic and cotija cheese on chopped greens, grape tomatoes. Slow cooker sweet potato and onion cooking with lamb neck (tomorrows dinner).

My brother is a skilled fisherman and he often brings some fillets of his weekend catch. This time it was some huge king salmon fillets. Hard to beat fresh fish from the lake.

Finally a sunny day with extra power for some hashing!

Using the extra solar power at this off grid yurt to evaporate the liquids in the composting toilet outhouse

Recently expanded the solar power system from 975w to 1275w so even with the 630w draw of the miner the batteries can still gain charge.

There have been a lot of guests staying at the yurt and a lot of cloudy days, so there hasn't been much hashing going on lately. Today the conditions are perfect!

Hashing to keep this underweight weak lamb alive.

Putting the good ole S9 back to work to keep this small lamb warm while it grows and gains strength.

It was a twin of a yearling ewe and is only 2lb. Other than it's small size it looks healthy, although it is still too weak to stand for long after 24h. We have been tube feeding it and using the miner to keep it's body temperature up. Doing everything we can to help it get strong and back on pasture.

This seems to be a double edged sword as notes with lots of interaction can dominate a feed. Maybe it's better to let the user collapse notes rather than the client hide replies. I find it cumbersome to switch between a root post feed and a replies feed.
Do you live in any of the following US states? If so, know of any small wineries I should try? I've been on a mission to try one winery from all 50 states and then write about them. These are the ones I have remaining to buy and try. My rules are that the grapes/fruit must be sourced from each actual state. Tend to prefer estate grown and/or unique varietals. I sometimes run into shipping issues like they don't ship to my state (CA) or the they don't ship at all.
Still Needed: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming
Already completed states are here: https://www.sonofvin.com/50-wines-from-50-states/
Maybe I'm better off just getting a pair of $60 boots every 6mo... It's so hard to drop that much cash in one shot. Knowing me, I'll do something stupid and ruin them early anyway.
How long did they last? I can't get a pair of shoes to make it past a year. Been spending less than $200 on a pair though.
Looks like poison hemlock to me. I would be cautious if you decide to pull it. Poison hemlock juices can cause blistering.
It's called purple dead nettle, different than stinging nettle.
It's definitely worth a shot. I'm amazed at how effective it is. Nothing has ever worked for me.
I dried it with my Bitcoin mining dehydrator. I'm sure it would work similarly fresh too.
Pasture on the left is grazed through and pasture on the right is where the sheep are headed.

Hard to see but down the middle is a row of young fruit and nut tree. Mostly apples and hazelnuts.

Purple dead nettle antihistamine tea

It might be too soon to say for sure but I think this purple dead nettle might be the best natural antihistamine I've ever found. If I drink a cup every 4 hours my allergy symptoms are totally gone. No side effects at all, I just feel normal! It's a miracle.

Can't wait! Each day we're getting a little more milk. I'm sure it will be more than we can drink in no time and then comes the yogurt, cheese, ice cream ect.
Thanks for the shout-out!
First day milking both East Friesian dairy sheep

Both lambs came along to keep mama ewe comfortable while we milked her for the first time.

Unfortunately, one side of her utter wasn't allowing milk to flow well and put out some clumpy discharge. This ewe's utter had an infection last season so we are pretty sure this issue is related. We will try again tomorrow and continue to observe.

Strange, I'm not seeing any of that. Maybe I'm not connected to the relay that all the spam is flowing through?
