Nevermind. The fees are too high. Wanna go outside and play catch, Dad?

You really made a splash with that reply.

ODell: "Wiz, why does nobody use liquid?"

Wiz: "Because the mempool's empty."

And I think reality will retrain people. If the fiat printing stops, economic calculation can better reflect reality and people will return to actually understanding value

Yes, and fiat printing incentivizes these kinds of things. The transition from fiat to hard money can't be both smooth and immediate because everyone has been trained to live the fiat casino life. Changing those deeply embedded psychological tendencies takes time and/or a collapse of the entire fiat casino system.

Is this an all-time high for BTC fees?

You made a claim about the block size debate. A quite bizarre claim. Nonsense data was a very important part of the block size debate. Why do you say otherwise?

I would love to hear a Citadel Dispatch episode on the Liquid network. I think it could be a good alternative in a high fee environment. In particular I'm curious to hear what Wiz thinks about the usefulness of Liquid these days.

Ok so my idea is a peer-to-peer electronic cash system. First thing is we need a solution to the Byzantine Generals Problem... This is kind of hard to explain, but I'm working on a paper. Hoping to have it done by Halloween.

Ok, hear me out.

What if someone made digital money?
