Haha. Trying to refer back to a note I posted as a response to your post. Essentially, trying to articulate how I think the nature of power is changing with Bitcoin. So peace is a more likely outcome than violence as this all resolves itself.

The portion of this interview where the married couples asks about inflation…all of here “solutions” would make things worse. Hard to listen to.

I feel bad for people who don’t understand how to escape this robbery from the top.

Where would be the fun in that anyway? Life’s risk is what makes it life.

Woops. No I didn’t. Maybe this?

The flow of human civilization centers around energy. From a sociopolitical perspective, we view this as power. For most of human history, the use of power was aimed toward the acquisition of nutritional energy through the conquering of agricultural land. Most of human history, that we are comfortable discussing, is the simple story of states warring against one another for the allocation of land and its consequential resources.

In the modern era, there has been a shift. Technology introduced new value in differing sources of energy, which gave rise to unprecedented levels of power to other individuals. Put one way, those who held control over energy in the form of oil, and eventually those who gained the ability to manipulate the money supply to a scale unforeseen in human history until this point, gained a level of power which allowed them to dominate and control the previous centers of power: the State. The past 100 years has been defined by a class of individuals who have been able to control governments from the back stage, fundamentally changing the structure of power in human civilization in away that has made it very hard for the common people to understand and reconcile.

We are entering a new era. One where digital energy, digital power, and digital money has converged into one technology. Bitcoin fundamentally changes the dynamics of power and energy. No longer will a rich few be able to wield such disproportionate levels of power. Moreover, the use of energy to get control of artillery power will no longer be the most efficient means of gaining economic resources. Rather, the most efficient weapon is an Excalibur that any individual can pull out of their computer to claim sovereignty and freedom. Bitcoin will change our relationship to the State, and the powers to be, in a surreal way. It is the non-violent weapon of true peace.

One love, and thank you Satoshi.

It is certainly is not a good idea to keep in on coinbase. Learning to properly cold storage is paramount but also a learning process.

Either buy a cold wallet now and learn to use it by putting smaller amounts on there. Or, I often recommend clients first play with a BitKey. It’s like training wheels for could storage and is fool proof. DM me for a promo code if you like.

That is the first weird thing I have seen about this second shooter. Does anyone else know anything that makes this situation appear to be more than meets the eye?
