The app I work on, https://nos.social, has been running a program this summer to promote creators and journalists posting outside the usual topics. If you download Nos you can find a list of these folks by tapping on the Discover tab.

The good news is you and I are not alone with this reflection. It takes one to know one. I have decided to create a different content and try to deviate from the negative contents! 🤓
Perhaps a good start. There will always be organisations or groups like EU if there is an appetite to control the society, its constituents under the guise of "protection & safety". Until we, as a society, make a willful choice NOT TO BE CONTROLLED! 🤓 UK as an example, it is out of brexit but also decided to police social media like other democratic countries. At least communist countries are upfront what you can and cannot say against them! 😅
Not everyone is aware of their needs.
Not everyone knows how to express their feelings.
Some people think that being agreeable is the way to harmony. But it is the opposite.
Being agreeable all the time is another term for "YES Person", "CONFLICT Avoidance" or "People Pleaser".
There are times you need to compromise for the greater good. But doing it often especially if it is against your core values and your truth. You are doing de-service to yourself and causing you disharmony inside you than peace.
Anything that disrupts your inner peace is not healthy to your #mentalhealth & overall #wellbeing.
Believe me because I've been there. People go to spiral depression and anxiety because they ignored their needs and resent themselves in the process.
Don't be that person because once the damage has been done, it takes time to heal. Not only it affects you but the people around you.
Learn every interactions with others and recognise when you ignore your own needs.
Stop negotiating who you are and start living what is true to you.
It takes practice and you will never get it right for the first time. But avoiding it will never get you to inner peace nor a quality life where you dictate the terms of it.

To your point, 💯 agree. I prefer to focus on the topic that I want like Reddit too or discussion. In a way Amethyst has this functionality so I will probably look into it on more detail on how it works.

Other than the animal video that I see from Amethyst, I hardly see positive content that is trending! Perhaps it is only my feeds?
#asknostr I deleted twitter/X because I do not want their energy! I am moving away from Tiktok because I do not want to be censored. I want more control on my contents.
However, if we are only drawn to those top 3 topics, are we not limiting the potential of this PROTOCOL?
Or is it just my feed? I am completely new here and I am simply sharing my observations.
Seeing negative posts and angry narratives are not healthy. I am guilty as charge because I noticed that posting topics like POLITICS ( whilst it is important) it is getting more views and engagement vs my usual content - life lessons! I am changing this!
Let's encourage more positive contents here.
PS. I am not saying the top 3 topics are less important. I am saying those are drawing different energy and to some extent, negative ones!
