Super excited to be here, finally, most excited I've been about any form of social media in as long as I can remember.
Older laptops are *fantastic* home or mobile nodes, especially as they have a built in battery backup by default.
Get one that you can swap out the 2.5" HDD with a 1-2TB SSD and they'll blow any Pi out of the water, even a budget laptop.

We'll get there eventually, definitely needs UX work around renotes etc.
Zapping *from* wallets is pretty widely supported these days, was more referring to receiving Zaps as it requires LN address + NIP-57 support, which is not easily done in a non-custodial way!
Most people are relying on WoS or similar for this instead of waiting a week or two for proper support in apps like Zeus, BTCPay, etc.
Building out another *real and powerful* use-case for Lightning will do wonders for it's adoption, maturation, and growth.
Bullish on how Nostr will drive actual Bitcoin usage from the ground up.

Thanks for sharing it, really looking forward to support being added for those of us running BTCPay and for an easy all-in-one solution for Bitcoin node + LN node + LN address + NIP-57.
The ability to host this on an always-on device and just fetch updates from mobile would be excellent, looking forward to it!

Agred, now that we have Zaps on Nostr, I'm pretty sure no client should be giving notifications when someone likes a post.

Not a problem for privacy, but not ideal for anonymity if desired/required.
