Scripture is clear: not everyone who cloaks themselves in Messiah’s name belongs to Him. ‘For such men are false emissaries… even satan masquerades as an angel of light’ (2 Cor. 11:13-14, TLV). Yeshua Himself said, ‘You will recognize them by their fruit’ (Matt. 7:16, TLV). If the fruit is contempt, pride, and deception, that is not from His Spirit. And no foundation other than Yeshua the Messiah will stand (1 Cor. 3:11, TLV). To idolize a false witness as a faithful servant is to trade the Lamb for a counterfeit.

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition … and not according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8). Empty populism, whether left or right, is just deceit dressed as truth. And as 1 Meqabyan 3:1–4 (Ethiopian canon) warns, evil shows up in every camp, but the righteous are known by their deeds, not their slogans. Don’t be fooled by the costume. Look at the fruit.

Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed… If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8–9)
