even with the best search in the world, i don't think you'll find many of my old notes. the only way you'll probably find them is if you try and find a relay operator that actually kept my notes and see if they'll give them to you. relay operators are not really incentivized to store notes unless they have to though. well, unless they're spooks 😂.
It’s not useless. I’ve deleted over 10k of my notes. Sure they probably exist on relays somewhere, but they’re not easy to access. I challenge you to see how many of my notes prior to Dec 2023 that you can find.
Even if a NIP were created to signal that your private keys were compromised, people would just make clients and relays that ignore this NIP.
the history of that wallet lives forever just like nostr though. on nostr it's not as permanent since there's no timechain. also, you can at least request deletion of your history on nostr.
