Handyman engineer. I bounce from project to project. I'm often called in to do the finishing touches, bringing 90% complete projects over the finish line. I'm good at making disparate systems talk to each other. * Zaps powered by nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjyg76vulm * On-chain powered by nostr:nprofile1qqsvxq03xdev3uxehjqcdkr5lfzl5vawmcf7vm6ps73m6ghwg8y4k2shaefxp *Always Buy the Dip* #privacy #security #linux #Android #networkengineer #infosec #SimpleX #dogs #cats #pets #cooking

I bet you could reroute a keyboard key to the big red button.

It would be cool if you got one of those big red buttons and hooked it up so you can slam it to zap.

This is exactly what I had in mind.

This fight can be summed up as one big game of, "NO, YOU!"

Amethyst is probably the most well-rounded client for Android. It's got a ton of features, so you can experience most of nostr with it. Primal is also a decent choice if you're prioritizing UX over functionality.

We were pretty adventurous in my house. My mother especially was obsessed with making me try new foods. Her go-to line was, "How do you know you don't like it if you never tried it?" Now, I'm glad they pushed me to try new things whenever the opportunity presented. It not only introduced me to a lot of different foods, but the mindset of being open and eager to try new things.

I got the taste for raw hamburger as a kid. Whenever my dad was cooking, he'd get really fresh ground beef from the butcher, and as he was preparing the meal, he'd break off meatball-sized chunks of the raw meat, sprinkle it with salt, and eat it like a little snack.

Of course I wanted to try it, because I wanted to do everything my dad did, and I immediately loved it. My dad's gone now, but I still do the same thing when I'm cooking with ground beef. I've found that getting really fresh meat from a great butcher is the key. I'd never do it with grocery store meat. It's a small thing that makes me feel closer to my father.

That's not a big deal with BitKey because it's a basic hardware signer. You pair it with the BitKey Wallet app, and its functionality is managed entirely by the wallet. You only need to unlock the hardware with your fingerprint when the wallet app tells you to, and then hold it over your NFC until it tells you the transaction signing is complete. There's not much use for a display given how it works.

I'm not pushing anything. I have no interest in Olas, and while I have it installed, I use it rarely. I use Amethyst 95%+ of the time. I only mentioned it because you were looking for similar functionality in other clients, and so I figured I'd let you know about it. I'm not some shill trying to sell you on something.

I don't think so. Elon has used this burner identity in the past as himself. And in this situation, he started the conversation using a voice changer and then abandoned it about 20 seconds in and just used his real voice. There's really no good scenario in which this wasn't him.

You gotta download nearly 700gb. It's gonna take a while. But you're more than halfway done, so there's that.

You could not emulate his cadence, the unique character of his speech, and his accent. And the content of what he said is completely in line with his way of speaking. Given the context, there's no chance this wasn't him. I don't really understand why you doubt it.

Did you listen to the second recording of a previous instance of him using the same burner identity in a different Twitter Spaces? In that one, there is no voice changer and he seems to have forgotten that he's supposed to be pretending not to be Elon. He openly referred to himself in the 1st person, abandoning any pretense of this account belonging to someone other than him.

It's not just the sound of his voice, but the cadence of his speech, and the unmistakable South African accent.

He only used the voice changer for like 20 sec. Then he got so angry that he stopped using it. Listen to it. There's no question it's Elon.

Every modern actor who has done an overly-hammy, olde tyme, harrumph, voice while portraying an aristocrat from that period is officially exonerated. If anything, they should be even hammier.
