I’m still going to finish and at least at where I am it’s more distracting than anything else — the story outside of it I am still enjoying

I know it was such a breath of fresh air and I find myself just more disappointed than anything

I am 300 pages into the new #WindandTruth from Sanderson, and story-wise, I am enjoying it aside from all the woke nonsense I feel is so out of place.

It's very disappointing and surprising as this one seems so much more in your face than all the other.

I understand that "fantasy" probably tends to lean woke, and he probably got pressure to do it, but it's so blatant in this one that it seems like more bending the knee than anything else.

But here each one sees that post and agrees with it like it’s affirmation

Something that concerns me this holiday season is hearing family members working from home, talking about what they actually spend most of their time on and their blockers.

The amount of bloat and inefficiency AI could eliminate has me worried for their jobs. I hear some of their meetings and think, “There’s no way this exists in 5 years.”

It’s not that they won’t find more work, but there will undoubtedly be a reckoning as companies cut bloat and value creation decentralizes.
