Well…trying to remember. I read about them all and I think at the time I felt Umbrel had the nicest interface and best built out App Store with a good variety. I think the others may have been missing some stuff. I know others have opted for or moved to Start 9 for better configurability (not necessarily something I need), but I’ve also seen some complaints about it not having some apps. Best thing to do is read reviews about all of them and see what best fits your needs.
I think the one I have was replaced by the EQ14 (Beelink), looks like $189 on Amazon
Is this something normal users (i.e. non-devs) should try out?
Cool I will check it out. For mirroring is it best to use a different service for the mirror, or do you have one that is physically separated?
I think it’s great to have options, i.e. Core, Knots, etc. just read this:
#Nostur update (TestFlight)
- Add blossom media server support
- Support multiple blossom servers as mirror
- Fixed feed position reset on audio bar toggle
- Fixed post screenshot broken for quoted posts

Awesome stuff. Video is still kinda wacky. Why when I tap a video it doesn’t just play in place, rather than going onto a little box in the lower right corner? When I tap that it becomes a blue bar at the bottom, audio only, and no way to get out of there. No matter what I tap, the video never comes back and the blue bar stays there forever, even as I scroll elsewhere.

Choice is good, I’m just not sure I want to move to Knots that is supported by one guy who I find in some ways questionable yet.
You can do a lot with your nostr.build cloud media storage Account! Check out some of the features:
I watched a video about blossom, so…blossom.band is your blossom server? Didn’t see this stated anywhere else so it’s not very clear, and if you need a subscription…?
While I don’t like the idea of removing options for node runners, there are good arguments on both sides.
It was a much more ‘steady as we go’ grinding upward as the rest of the global economy spazzed out.
The only thing for my ol’ Galaxie 500
Messy todo lists drain energy before the day even starts. We just published a guide that shows how to turn Maple AI into your own executive assistant—so capture, prioritize, and schedule happen in minutes, not hours.
And all your sensitive data is private by default.
https://blog.trymaple.ai/plan-your-day-like-a-pro-time-management-with-personal-ai/
Step 1 → Capture
Dump every task—work or personal—into Maple with the mic. No filtering needed; everything is end-to-end encrypted, so even client details stay private.
Step 2 → Prioritize
Maple scores each item with importance + urgency. One command and you get a ranked list that actually reflects real-world stakes.
(Eisenhower Matrix is used here, but you can choose your own.)
Step 3 → Schedule
Tell Maple your hours and it converts the list into productivity blocks of time, slots in breaks, and groups quick errands automatically. Adjust on the fly with plain-language tweaks.
(Pomodoro is used here, but you can use your own.)

I don’t see a microphone icon.
Other clients support this? Is it just part of Nostr.build?
Perhaps your Rasp Pi is underpowered? I run on Beelink mini pc with no problems 🤞 I’ve read Rasp Pi 5 and 16 GB RAM recommend as minimum.
My Umbrel has been running fine and works well for me. But there are tons of complaints about lack of support on Discord and you should really address that. And also inability to recognize and mount additional internal and external drives on devices other than Home.

Is wss://relay.nostraddress.com the premium relay you can use with a subscription to nostraddress.com? I already have a NIP-05 but that relay shows as one of the fastest, at lease from where I am.
Also, Nostur has not shown me notifications (reactions specifically) for the last 17 hours but I can see notifications since then in YakiHonne.
Good idea. In reality what happens:
- Tap video
- Video moves to lower right of screen and is cut off
- Tap again it moves to bar at bottom (like your pic)
- Tap bar, video comes up to center and can watch
A lot of taps and awkward to watch a vid.
When you tap out you’re brought to the top of feed rather than to the note where the vid was so you can’t continue through the timeline
Allow entering a relay with ws:// (I have reasons, can elaborate if you like).
