I plan on eventually getting a nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfcpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq5xamn8ghj7dnvv45xs7tywde8g6rpvakkjuekw46nvar4vdhxgan6wumkxatzwpckk6rk0puhjdm2da5k7ce5x4kkkumjx3jkzepwdahxjmmwqyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wd9hxvmckqw0xz and would like to run my own lightning node using alby's new product but blackouts are fairly common where I live. What problems would I encounter with my lightning node and what are the recommended apps to download on a Start9? I know I'm downloading Bitcoin Knots for starters.

Very interesting episode nostr:nprofile1qqsqqx9hacelkffcgd3ecchzjtlvwq9xn2fmprhrwnzmm2t3exee2eqpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wvfskueqrswwax , definitely adding this as another future rabbit hole to go down. It's an ever increasing list and it can feel overwhelming but shows like these give you a nice summary and where to start. Now as a bitcoiner, it's time to try and verify.

I've been eating fatty cuts of meat like short rib and adding tallow to my minced beef. I add plenty of pink salt to my meals and even add it to my water. Which is why I'm attributing it more to coffee withdrawal, I've been carnivore for around 20 months so I don't think electrolytes should be an issue. Anyways, I'm always learning and this is an interesting experiment.

Day 8 of the #liondiet : Yesterday afternoon I started developing a low grade persistent headache that slowly began to increase in intensity. It could be that I cut off coffee cold turkey or that I didn't sleep very well the night before because of my baby; or both. Either way, it's gone now and feeling good again. Just a note to self: don't cut off caffeine so abruptly next time.

Yes, I was eating mainly New York steak before the lion diet and have recently added t-bone and short rib, which are much fattier cuts of meat. That can cause loose stools if it's too much fat for my body to absorb. Also, I used to consume dairy quite regularly, especially with my coffee; so I assume that cutting it out abruptly could be causing a change in my intestinal flora which, in turn, could be causing diarrhea. Nonetheless, it should all regulate itself in time.

Day 7 on the #liondiet : My occasional loose stools have begun to calm and I continue to feel great. I still get coffee cravings every now and then, but nothing I can't handle. My wife though, she has been having amazing results, her depression is basically gone (she has been on and off keto in the last 18 months) and describes it as "seeing colors again". I'm obviously proud of her. nostr:nprofile1qqsqpnxjn3vzu04nux9x2n8ywhyn89f9axs9dj5gevu9ytm0qjfk5ccpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wvfskueq6l6c8g

Completely agree, sadly, a lot of docs I know don't spend more than 15-20 minutes with their patients, this includes the private sector but especially the public one. I remember being scolded once for taking longer than 15 minutes per patient when I worked in the emergency department of a public hospital. It's basically like working at a factory line.

I'm curious doc, how much time do you spend on average talking about nutrition to a patient who needs it but has never heard of the carnivore diet?
