But we started an English Tutoring for sats business, so we do have an active income job (my husbands the teacher, I admin) but we need more than 60k sats per week ๐
Rather than having a total amount that we'd like to reach, we'd like to reach a certain amount of total passive income per month/year, so we truly can keep doing what we want with our time. Part of that is the freedom to keep writing books. ๐

There's a story of someone asking why this lady is cutting the ends off of the roast before cooking it.

This line of questioning reminds me of bitcoiners. We don't trust, we verify. We don't do "Because I said so's", we want to know WHY, so we can make actually informed decisions and choose paths that actually work!

Knowing how I work and how my husband works has seriously made it easier for us to get along. It has removed a lot of the mystery certain people think is inevitable in marriage. I like know why, and not to just do because someone said so.
I've been enjoying a few days of "cooler" weather, where it's only been getting to the high 80s and low 90s. Is going back over 100 by next weekend though ๐
I've tried to pay attention because I've heard a lot of them do experience changes.
I noticed how my feelings that are usually internal got external, so they were a lot harder to push under the rug, and I'd cry more easily. Some women normally cry at sad moment in movies, but I don't, but I started to. However, it seems my emotions have stabilized lately, so maybe it was just a 2nd trimester thing for me.
I'm a very stable person, so I'm not very affected by fear which I think can cause some women to change their thinking.
Mostly for me, I think it might be growing in confidence, but that's also what God has been working with me on for much longer than this pregnancy, so I'm not sure the cause ๐ค
I meant someone who claimed women will change once they have a baby because her focus shifts to keeping this new human alive. However, I think it was mostly specific to his own wife.
So, at least for now, I've been paying attention but only noticed a bit more confidence, but I'll keep monitoring myself for fun!

If someone wants to be happy, but keep needing to fight the lack of money to survive, it can be very stressful and lower the happiness one has the energy to experience. If those people get money, it relieves the pressure, and they are free to be happy, be it on a boat in Italy or whatever it might be.
If a miserable person gets money, they'll unfortunately likely stay miserable as they don't know how to handle their inner world.
I assume everyone on here are of at least average to height intelligence... then some say some things and I wonder how they got on Nostr as they sound better suited for X or something, where my assumption is low to average intelligence ๐

I'm an author, but so far this year, I've been paid more from zaps on Nostr than actual book sales. The one book I sold so far was through Nostr, so I'm counting that one separately.
So, technically I am getting paid for my writing, but I'm getting paid more for short ideas here than the books that took months to years and lots of editing to put together.
