I'm not going to say how much I have deployed please don't hold it against me
I think integrating USDt on lightning into #nostr zaps for normies is going to be a good play for nostr growth.
clocked in 55k sats in profit off my lightning node just this week. magma channel leases plus routing fees. best week ive had in a long time.
hey nostr:npub1tv5j2h2742ht2a6490cdzypsxah5wlge5qyutadgphw884ynt8mqg4jlstwoukd you help with these questions when you have a sec?
I live on bitcoin. I am literally over 100% bitcoin. I think taproot assets is great because now I can pay people with bitcoin and them get whatever shitcoin they want on the other side. It's all interoperable. This is great.
correction: Won't know if they are routing/forwarding taproot assets payments or not.
Normal bitcoin routing nodes won't know if they are sending taproot assets payments or not.
looks like we'll have the option to get zapped stable coins sooner than expected. https://x.com/lightning/status/1885083485678805424?t=aBvkqA_lMDjpOVYwnksdBg&s=19
I mean it's much easier to get a bolt 12 human readable than a lnaddress due to all the DNS indanity. twelve.cash exists
I wish we'd leapfrog lnaddress and go straight to bolt12
I'm not saying it's not difficult or shouldn't be improved. it's a huge and amazing feature of nostr. I'm saying it's not an actual technical bottleneck for the ecosystem for prevention of 1m users. that's just my personal opinion
It's not, but i would argue nostr in general isnt ready for 1M people. The major issue isn't onboarding users into zaps, it's better relays, imo.
While there should be easy ways for normies to tap into zaps right away, the UX of running and LND node + alby hub has never been easier. I would disagree that nobody does this.
Yeah, makes sense. Sounds good!
hmm nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft is this true lol
I'd be interested to look into these clients. any links? I'll run cashu if I have to buy that sounds annoying as f
the guy invented world coin. he's worse than sbf
NWC makes using your own nodeceasy I don't think that's going away 🤷♂️
yeah but you still need lightning to pay from mint to mint so why not just use your node directly since the cashu ecash is just a wrapper around your lightning node at that point. That's how it seems to me anyway
