Business is hard. Especially something effectively commoditized (i.e. basically anything open source). People make money in commoditized businesses all the time through other competitive advantages. Like a brand advantage for example, which they’ve effectively fucked up here.

If you are a bored developer maybe you will be interested in implementing simple NIP-23 Nostr sources support on some open-source RSS reader apps out there for something like $800 each.
The goal is to make it work, record some screencasts and open PRs. If they will merge or not that's their decision and we don't care.
The feature is just to support pasting npub, nip05 or nprofile URIs, use relay hints if available or fetch write relays from kind:10002, then fetch new kind:30023 articles from these relays periodically just like the app already fetches RSS feeds from URLs. No need to bother with comments, likes, anything for now.

Not judging anyone who wants to circlejerk this perceived “victory” for a bit but we’re still far from the promised land folks.
If they ever signal they are buying and printing, then Americans/ROW lose confidence in the dollar and front run them. Frankly, probably worse outcomes from the insanity that would cause overall. While it’s upsetting to see so plainly, I don’t see how else they’d achieve this. Did we really ever think the US Gov was going to lay down its biggest weapon because we backed a few politicians?
