Hillbilly engineer and plant nerd going feral

I can't recall seeing dead nettle tea in any store, however it grows all over the place. Often in and around lawns. I wonder if the antihistamine effect evolved to deal with spring allergy season πŸ€”

For stuff I collect, not sure if I like mullein tea or dead nettle tea (or other mints) more

I'm in. I am imagining a bunch of pop up grey market stands popping up all over town. Maybe pick one day for all the kids to run lemonade stands in public places. πŸ˜ƒ

Lovely. πŸ˜ƒ. The second one is great

Nice lilacs. What is the white flower?

Amethyst is showing 1494 for me lol.

I don't know how I found you. I probably saw a post I liked

Very nice. I wonder if they eat any of it.

I have been working it in my chicken bedding a couple times a week. This eventually gets composted.

I also use some in my potting soil after a quick 'charge' in liquid kelp.

Made some char for biochar in a big mixing bowl. This thing worked great. I got around 13 gallons of char.

πŸ˜‚ the cloth ones, I've got them doubled up for twice the protection

What would suggest I do? Release it to be eaten by coyotes? Run a chicken rescue where I tolerate any behavior? If my chickens follow a few simple rules, I will give them a great life.

If it makes you feel any better I told her a joke to put the laughter in slaughter. That part I did enjoy. πŸ˜ƒ

I adopted 4 hens 2 weeks ago after a neighbor did not want to care for them anymore. One of them was mean and taught my other hens to peck at eggs, so I made soup.

I got a gallon of stock and 2 gallons of soup. I did not enjoy processing this old hen even though she was a dick. There is a ton of flavor in an old hen

Soup and a three hens, not bad for almost free

That's great. My zune lasted until 2021
