I mean, we’ll just get a different kind of decline with Trump. We cant keep having democrat or republican presidents that half the country hates or we’re fucked either way. Trump or Biden should be equally concerning to everyone but I think the problem is people aren’t familiar enough with history. People used to love Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, etc. as well at a certain point early in their careers.
BTW, does nobody remember Trump praising the dictator of the Philippines policy of murdering drug dealers and condoning that the populace take part? I mean come on. This alone should be enough to never vote for him. There’s nothing “pro freedom” about Trump at all. Whenever I go out and spend money on food or alcohol or anything like that it makes me feel better to eat least buy $20 worth of bitcoin at the same time.
I think America just really needs a third party candidate to win sooner or later if we ever want any change or don’t want the country to collapse. The duopoly is way too toxic and corrupt, even if we ever manage to get a decent candidate within each of the 2 parties, which never seems to happen.

I completely agree, I don’t think anybody who is familiar with history should have a very good feeling about supporting Trump. He’s saying all the talking points now to hook the libertarians and crypto people. But why anybody would actually believe him is beyond me. It has never been a good idea to elect a narcissistic populist demagogue. All the most popular 20th century dictators garnished love and support before taking power. The only source of optimism that I can manage to find regarding Trump is that hopefully he is narcissistic enough to care more about his own popularity than to become authoritarian, but I really don’t understand why anybody takes his word for anything. Just because the current system is corrupt does not make Trump a good person or a good alternative. He won’t be saving anything, just like he didn’t the first time around. This election is between the 2 oldest people to have ever been president and either one of them will beat that record when they are elected again. The only thing I can do in good conscience is vote 3rd party. The duopoly must be broken.

It just makes no sense to have Trump or Biden as president. If that’s all that we can come up with then what’s even the point? Out of 350 million people we get old dementia guy or narcissistic reality show host? I can’t participate in that. Seems like character should matter to some degree.
To be honest I wasn’t aware of his support for Israel, only his criticism of Ukraine. Shit maybe I just won’t vote either.
It’s really bumming me out that Trump’s most recent rhetoric is actually working on bitcoiners. Why not just vote third party? He’s a narcissist and a liar, he’ll flip on everything he says if it ever suits him. Hitler said a lot of appealing shit too before he took power.
You can’t possibly be more than 50% certain that book is even authentic. It could just as easily or even more likely have been fabricated by antisemites which were rampant at the time. Doesn’t mean you’re wrong about the deep state but I don’t think antisemitism is very productive.
I definitely don’t agree with him on everything but people are so dramatic about it. My one concern about ossification is that I think if bitcoin cannot be held in self custody by pretty much everybody then it loses the one most important thing that got me into it in the first place.
It’s crazy people actually believe what he says. I’d like to think libertarians don’t actually fall for it. He could possibly be marginally better than Biden in some ways but only if he doesn’t tear the country apart in other ways which is almost a guarantee. Plus just look at the graph of the deficit during his administration and it rockets upward same as every other president.
If you know anybody in real life who lies as much Trump does you take everything they say with a grain of salt. It is truly mind boggling that people buy into it. Liars lie, it’s what they do.
