Did meditation with my grade 8 class today. Went pretty good for their first time. Hey how'd that job interview go btw? Did you take it?

βœŒοΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

πŸ“’ Have the courage & sheer audacity to believe YOU can change the world and manifest it ALL. Life is so short.

You only have one chance to do EVERYTHING. Make every moment count!

Life will break your heart 10 different ways. Find the courage to sew it up 10 and keep going. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

I promise you. It'll be worth it. βš‘οΈπŸ’―

Swing for the fences EVERY TIME πŸ€™βš‘οΈπŸ”₯

Write a photo essay style coffee table book? I'm a high school teacher and love your story. ⚑️πŸ”₯ Live every day to its fullest... inspiring.

Dystopian. The things I'm seeing, hearing and reading don't seem real. I'm wondering far too often if I dreamed something or if it really happened. πŸ€” 😣

Daryn, I completely understand your perspective. To me, and hopefully to others as well, "value for value" does not equate to paying whatever you want.

I believe that many Bitcoin enthusiasts misinterpret this concept and use it to imply, "Since I'm paying in Bitcoin, any amount is better than using fiat currency!"

In reality, "value for value" primarily signifies that the exchange of money for goods inherently holds lasting value. Bitcoin exemplifies this principle, whereas fiat currency falls short in this regard.

I think we need to share this definition PLUS the practice of offering a few - not just one - peoce options for customers. Sort of like buying gas or a tiered subscription model.

Example:

1000 sats price to sustain

2000 sats is the price plus a "πŸ€™βš‘οΈtip"

3000 sats is the price for πŸ€™βš‘οΈ plus X variable throw in.

Bitcoin requires and deserves ONGOING learning IMO. Stage 1 is learning the beginner basics, getting a cold wallet and managing yoir own keys. It's a very big deal to just get here. So congrats! πŸ‘

But then there's *so* much more. Continual practice is very useful for yourself, but also for adoption and spreading awareness...

Send yourself sats.

Create new addresses.

Try new wallet interfaces.

Practice coinjoining.

Use a sidechain/federation.

Do an atomic swap.

Send yourself a message on PGP.

Use a new method of key storage.

Use multi-sig.

Spend says at a local merchant.

Run a Bitcoin node.

Manage a Lightning Node.

Buy an older miner.

Join an online forum/group.

Go to a meetup or conference.

Code something useful.

Gift someone a Satscard.

Read a new book.

Listen to a new podcast.

Etc. I know I missed some...

I don't blame the people. Many are doing their best and trying but we're taught so little about finance in a fiat centralized system. I'm realizing how difficult it is to exit this system.

But I hear you. The cypherpunk ideals must be PRACTICED.
