I’ve been playing with some thermoelectric water chillers maybe I should just make a humidifier with chilled water and pump that humid air in.
I need to look into both of those options. In my situation there isn’t a big heat source in the tent like a grow light.
Being able to control it to a specific temp is definitely a big plus.
Maybe I just need to scale up more and the bigger units would seem more worthwhile than just my 3x3 foot tent. 🍄😅

Mushroom harvest yesterday! Just a small harvest of a couple of blocks. This is a species I have never grown before. It is called Elm Oyster.
It was definitely a chonky boy and the wavy ends of the caps are distinctive of this species.
After about a year of work, and a wide variety of pieces coming together, 3D printing, embedded software (esphome, Shelly), cloud software (grafana), I have PID controller for the environmental control of the growing tent. It feels like a small achievement, how hard can PIDs be??? But it HAS come together, and I have high hopes that I can really start to ramp up production at this point.

My lightning node is self hosted, it works fine. But im NOT going to tell you to go run it, that it’s ezpz. Its not. I raw dog a lot of shit. No umbrels here. I took the time to learn and figure stuff out.

I previously played with a LoRa co2 sensor from seeedstudio, which afaict required the use of a proprietary base station software called “The Things Network”.
In my limited testing I could go across my hilly neighborhood and it worked and I was impressed, but the software stack felt difficult to do anything with. I hope meshtastic is better.
