Also some kind of feed algorithm that one self hosted or something would be really good. On Twitter there is an addictive quality of searching and finding good people ( not as good now that views of followed accounts are limited)

Most people I know on here I find on twitter..and I find I have to go manually look again and again- main feed here is kinda bad even with a good list of accounts.

Hashtaga a great idea.

We also can benefit from:

- sharable relays/predefined starter follow lists- user curated and preferably available from your app.

-more mastodon connectivity,ditto bluesky

-app "stores" that make it easy for users to see nostr's broad functionality base- nests, streaming, music, etc... I like this platform but keeping up with all the micro developments is πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

I have found that I really like having basically one app as my nostr network entry point- is it possible to include an "app store" to make it easier to find out about other nostr projects? Feel like I saw so.e app thatsid this already but now I can't even remember which one.πŸ˜…

They have both been capitol cities where the emperor lived.

It's dated and the federated model is a cluster- too difficult to use.

You may not be aware but there are ways to link fedi and nostr- so to some extent the two are interlinked.

Nostr has some of the same problems with onboarding.

I am a fan of going in the direction of customisable clients that can start off with recommended packages of starter relays-follow lists that people can share around. This would be good for other niche communities that want to be here.

Nostr already seems to me to have more functionality built out than fedi.

Brutal but true...however...Systems like mastodon also had a small pool of regular users to begin with. This is a stronger core group than I have seen in most social. It functions waaay better than most others I've tried and the dev speed is amazing. It just needs another community to onboard.

One could say similar things about Saylor. I don't know what kind of timeline this etf is looking at, but it seems unlikely to me that they will begin purchasing much prior to halving- so the existing culture has a headstart.

Tech wise it's less clear to me, but to maintain cultural power I think emphasizing holding culture is key to maintain existing network . Lobbying( for example, mining regs got defeated) and pushing for adoption in other places like El Salvador, etc. Also very important.

Doubtful that this person has any genuine support for btc- just wants the constituency

Alot of people are being drawn to bluesky right now- good to watch. The he funny part is that getting on nostr is so easy- this place from day one has the nonexclusive vibe. @t protocol/bluesky is trying to feel like web2.0- still do not have invite and find I am increasingly unsure I'd even want to- I think it's the "not musk" twitter but old users will not actually like the decentralisation.

Looking for reading recomemdations- on aggrey trade beads- has anyone written in detail on how this currency system was manipulated?
