Someone should make a super customizable nostr client
Thank you very much for your response but I’m still pretty lost. Still hunting around. Thanks again!

Man, this is part of the onboarding I do regret. Wish I could point you to a self custodial solution with an LSP like we got with Phoenix, but most people use a custodian such as alby or in my case stacker.news
For stacker.news for example its username@website for your lightning address so in my case nerd2ninja@stacker.news and you know I'm not a primal user, but probably in your profile you enter that for your "LNURL"
Hope that helps and if not hope a primal user can explain better lol
It is a "copyleft" software license. So basically its a copyright that states you can freely distribute and modify the software, but under the restriction that any modifications also be open source and published under a GPL license
So really cool example of this license working, is the Linux kernel is under the GPL so when steam wanted an OS (steamOS which is actually based on Debian) they got the benefit of not having to build an OS from scratch, but under the restriction that their OS had to be open source (at least the kernel anyway)
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steamos_kernel?tab=License-1-ov-file
You can learn more from the free software foundation:
Or look up Richard Stallman and listen to his reasoning for creating the GPL
Except if you're not using the GPL no you're not really
I mean you do gotta make it clear that this isn't about supporting one company over another.
The iPhone vs Android dichotomy is made out to be a coke vs Pepsi dichotomy. Their rivalry only serves to get their fans to dig their heels further and onlookers to forget they weren't interested in either.
Making the clear distinction about an open platform vs an abusive company (rather than 2 abusive companies) is an important point to make I think.
Whoohoo! nostr:note18pnh4ryqhvszuxj4deqr2a4s3ggr28c2vqapwj623kc2fq6ujleshmsmwp
You absolutely can.

Okay fine I looked it up.
Its nostr-rs-relay

Okay but AI has a hallucination problem where it will just make shit up.
Is there a nixpkg or flake for nostr relays?
#asknostr instead of looking it up lol nostr:note16jul6xmqtdztlut9ty4xq8hc037klqpuyp6ydznu5vk0lmm35aussvc3s7
100%
There's nothing wrong with offshoots either, but don't make your users think other apps can see the same content when you're running out of spec

A wise man once said
"There is only do or do not. There is no why"
Although, I may have misheard them.
I've been rocking OSMAnd~
https://github.com/osmandapp/Osmand
admittedly I've done things like record a trip I navigated using google maps then used the OSM recording for future trips thereafter. I've also matched up a google maps location and tried to find it on OSM then starred that place and started navigation from there.
It doesn't have every address is what I'm trying to say.
So I'd still check out other suggestions
Might even teach people to use a different exchange lol
Welp it wasn't a NIP when I brought it up to KoalaSat the first time.
