I have light (and humity, conductity and temperature) sensors in my plants, including some outdoor ones. So indeed that is probably the way to go. Multiple sensors perhaps to differentiate random shade from clouds.

The most recent Bitcoin Core releases always helps.
"Meta started blocking news on its Facebook and Instagram platforms for all users in Canada this month in response to a new law requiring internet giants to pay for news articles." nostr:note1e50xy5ygzkzrt8uje56w9n6724trwv7qpfjfpnq4s3pfxvmuyvxs69gpya
Probably cheap if you hired a virtual assistant to just copy-paste the tweets, if the author doesn't complain.
I have no idea, but having survived for 5 hours is generally a good sign :-)
You could also try an FAQ, either a web page or something you can attach. Then you respond with "I'm a bit overwhelmed with emails lately. Does any of this help? If not, let me know."
There are also tools that intentionally delay your reply, so you don't get caught in slow chat as you're working through the inbox. I haven't tried any though, not getting that much mail these days.
(Mailinglists go to a folder where inbox zero doesn't apply.)
Anything that's not email I consider ephemeral and only gets processed on a best-effort basis. For email I'm an Inbox Zero maximalist. Other than that: GTD

I may have gone slightly overboard with Home Assistant and esp32 gadgets. Here's one flashed with ESPHome and connected to a keypad. The three top buttons control individual curtains. This is useful because the SwitchBot devices hanging in them make it too heavy to open them manually. And because I was too lazy to mount them securely, pulling on the curtains too hard causes to fall down.
(They also open and close based on the sun azimuth, inclination and expect maximum temperature. Work in progress to takes cloud into account)

At this point I'm just trying it. Better than handing out my phone number (Signal / WhatsApp). Potentially more private in the future than Matrix chat.
If you me a DM on Nostr or send me an email, I MAY reply with my Simplex chat contact link.

There's some interesting hypnosis of the audience going on where they project all the benefits of Bitcoin onto "crypto".
Meanwhile the archive download feature has been "broken" for at least several days now. Fortunately my last backup is not super old, and good enough. I wouldn't be surprised if Musk pivots to ransomware though.
