It's just fiat trending toward zero.
Super worth a listen, nostr:nprofile1qqsqqx9hacelkffcgd3ecchzjtlvwq9xn2fmprhrwnzmm2t3exee2eqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhssv9k82 is really doing an awesome job at going down different rabbit holes. Agree with him or not, he has guts and a lot of curiosity, because a lot of these topics can be highly controversial.
This episode about immigration, for example, can spark a lot of outrage, but it was very based and balanced in my opinion. I say this as a Mexican and someone who grew up illegally in the United States for over 10 years. I have no issue sharing this. I probably wouldn't be where I am right now if my father wouldn't of taken the tough decision of leaving everything he had here in search of a better life, I probably wouldn't be helping people the way I am helping them now, I probably wouldn't be a bitcoiner in this moment of my life. Nonetheless, I can agree and know a bit of the living hell the border is, and for every honest hardworking individual looking for a better life, there is also a monster crossing that border. Something has to be done.
The problem though is clearly outlined in the conversation, government in general. The USA government has clearly caused a lot of this migration due to their interventionist actions throughout the world in the last decades, they have also facilitated the mass entry of illegal immigrants. The Mexican government created an inflation problem so big in 1994, that my father was forced to close his shop and be consumed by debt, so much so, that going to the USA seemed like the only option. My father didn't want to go to the USA, most latinos would choose to stay where they are, especially due to the strong family ties we have, but necessity will always overcome this desire. You either join the cartel, which is simply supplying demand for their products/services in the USA, or you look elsewhere.
Government fucks all and #bitcoin fixes this.
Agreed!
Not sure how business insider got into baking things, but whatever. Not sure if this could help.

Read through the report but didn't say how people were selected to be in the study (I could have missed it?). Qualtrics website says they do online polling, but was this only online or do they have man on the street polling too? If it's an online poll they're more likely to be internet savy, and they chose to do an online poll (that's gotta be it's own demographic haha), which would mean they have more of a chance of at least knowing about Bitcoin. With all of nostr:npub1lr2zzf989mvf393y0tv39ara6a4vddkd6y87z784up9vl6ks6j3qtudl6a videos it seems like there are so people who have never heard the name, or just know the name (like a brand) but have no idea what it really is.
Interesting read anyway.
This is the way. I was just guessing that the big guys were clearing out some shorts and longs yesterday for a pump up, but we'll have to see.
$50 footlong has a good ring to it. Eventually it will be possible to capitalize on it.
I seriously want to know who kicked off the sats/bit discussion this time around? This is a distraction. #asknostr
It's incredibly stupid and destructive, and I have a hard time believing that otherwise smart and well-meaning people are pushing for it. nostr:nevent1qqsfssrjj9u3n44m73fd2r7878z62n497s7y09nuvxuum75p8guk38spr9mhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet59upzqmjxss3dld622uu8q25gywum9qtg4w4cv4064jmg20xsac2aam5nqvzqqqqqqyz5t8js
I don't know who started this, but maybe when the degens don't get their way with pictures on a monetary timechain they start having a tantrum and trying to cause chaos?
🎵 We Call Them Poor🎵
Good story, but I remember there were one or two chapters that were a bit of a slog. It was like the story ran into a mud bog and then it would get better again. I'm going to have to read it again to remember which sections and why. hah.
It's per capita, so when you let a lot of people into your country the number will go down. Would be nice to see a graph on how much energy generation has been added over this time frame too.
Story seemed to lean toward possible engine trouble. I believe the same thing happened with the baltimore ship not long ago.
Ouch. Another ship losing power in the harbour and crashing. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/17/nyregion/brooklyn-bridge-ship-crash-nyc.html

Do Not Worry
Matthew 6
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
GM. Hope you have a good Sunday. ☀️
That's a cool idea. Now you'll have to see if the sticker fits that way. heh
