Pet peeve that I can't comprehend how it happens: sinks with faucets that barely extend out over the bowl, resulting in you knocking your hands against the edges of the bowl while trying to get them under the stream of water.

I encounter this in houses, public restrooms, and even fancy hotels. Are bathroom designers really this lacking in foresight?

There were freezes reported likely due to some android/okhttp ipv6 related issues, seems to be solved by reconfiguration on minibits server.

You might make copy of seed phrase and check how many ecash proofs your wallet holds in Settings > Backup > Export.

Then export as a backup or just send whole balance to another wallet (both do not require mint interaction) and factory reset.

Then import backup from last onboarding screen or just send back from another wallet. If you had custom wallet address, use original seed phrase in Settings > Recovery to get it back.

If above does not work for whatever reason, do factory reset and use seed phrase to do full ecash balance recovery, this can be longer process in case of long wallet history.

The source of truth only matters if you can verify it. You are trusting their relay to do that for you. They can forge posts or even swap out zap addresses this way if they wanted to. if they didn’t want to it could still happen if their relay is hacked. Don’t trust, verify.

we should stop calling clients that talk to a centralized server instead of relays a "nostr client". Otherwise this will lead to confusion when the app goes down and they think nostr is unreliable, which may irreversibly damage nostr's reputation.

if you make a web browser that doesn't fetch from websites directly and instead uses some centralized server to do this for you, you wouldn't call this a web browser.
