One of my number one requirements is that I have individual txt or md files on my own file system. I don't like having things locked into a particular system or software.
The biggest problem in today's society is that it seems we are not allowed to disagree with each other yet still be friends. It's nice to be in a place where we can still be old school.
After trying to journal in StandardNotes, Obsidian, DayOne, and a couple other options I probably am forgetting I think I have accepted that none do what I want and I’m just going to use #nvim and txt files with years being their own folders. So much easier and much less to think about.

Is it me, or should the “Linux Foundation” be renamed to the “Lot of stuff that is not Linux Foundation”?

What price do we think #Bitcoin will settle at someday. Eventually it will hit some price it stays around for long periods of time?

Worse than the pollution, I cannot wrap my mind around a motorized bicycle. Can they not see everyone is basically a different level of fat. Maybe peddling the damn thing would do some good.
I bought a lifetime pcloud account years ago and have been fairly happy with it. I also bought the crypto option for a lifetime... I think it's paid itself off already and I've had no issue. If I had a second reliable machine, I would possibly just do Syncthing.
Playing with #Damus #notedeck. Is pretty slick so far. Being alpha it of course is missing quite a bit still, but to be expected. As far as performance, it smokes any web client I've used and bonus its working fine on #Windows.
Absolutely not. I've been using Linux since it was difficult back in 1999. I am just learning to code in the past few years. It's not much different than installing Windows these days. Just do a main distro like Ubuntu and Fedora, or even Mint. But stay away from less common ones, they may require tweaking.
If you don't mind it not being opensource, these are the best two options for compatibility for MSoffice docs..

My 2 cents
Users, lots of users.. and not those fly-by-night grab an npub users, but the dig into the trenches users. And may all of them have little interest in bitcoin, and talk of other topics and interests.
You first need to ask yourself what kind of relay you'd like to run? Is this going to be a public relay? A private relay? Would you like to run a web of trust public relay?
I recommend #haven for a personal/private relay and wot-relay for your public relay.
I'm looking to do a paid relay maybe? Something that could possibly be self-supporting. I would like to say I saw someone was building the whole package with a frontend for users and so forth, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.
You can easily send to fountain with your lightning primal wallet and back to primal, with just the address and not remembering keys.
I still have an Unused VPS. I would like to possibly turn it into a relay but I need guidance on what to install and so forth. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It’s official, deactivated my X account. On to greener pastures.
nostr:npub1awyzkzaktxlhyg6syzst3pxy5lvp0c908yphz4ekk9rp3zcapp5qxn79n4 when you share onboarding solutions for #Lightning and zapping podcasts. I feel you should probably share the nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg app.
1. It gives folks a lightning wallet.
2. You can buy #sats directly from within the app (in small amounts)
3. You also got them on #Nostr to boot.
For just a casual user, it may be the easiest onboarding process. You can buy your sats through the app with Apple or Google Pay. Easy peasy.
Just a thought, cheers!
