I was a user at the very beginning of email when they rolled it out through k12's back in the 80's. I think it's a good thing those people wait, because the ones drawn in first must have infinite patience and confidence to try features and connect with strangers with an expectation of nothing in return.

I struggle with the idea of anything from MIT being "secure". All the security features in the world are meaningless when the humans running it receive funding from the government.
