I ran my own server - it was a disaster. Deliverability to corporate emails would often get blocked. And then that block flag would get propagated to the black list of many other corporate admins.
I would never try doing this again if deliverability is important 😜
I’m sure he’ll forgive you. You can see it in his eyes.
For sure. I just built a cabana - I have about 5% to finish. Even without the labour costs,I spent over $35k on materials.
But it’s satisfying and keeps me busy.

You are making great progress. It’s like a giant Lego project huh? Saving $$$$$
This account is such a great idea! I’m a follower.
Here’s a great podcast on Maintenance. Really. It’s great.
Got to start somewhere. That’s a skill I do not have but my wife just bought a sewing machine so I’ll have a chance to figure it out.
So true - I have become very interested in maintains the things I own. My goal is to one day not own anything I can’t maintain myself.
The corner post was rotted out so I had to Jack up the roof by 1/2 inch, cut out the tossed section and scarf in a new piece. You can see the colour change where I did that. Took a while!
Took advantage of the early summer weather to rebuild the rotted screened in porch and deck.

Never heard of them but will check them out.
I’m loving the rise of music posts on nostr. More variety the better.
Here is the status of my rhubarb.
That’s the ideal. Mine is a regular farm crop.
That’s awesome. I have 60 acres and 12 is farmed. But not by me - I lease the fields. You need literally millions in equipment to farm fields and it would make no sense.
Mint is nice but need to keep it contained.
