I'm on the older end of the Gen X generation. I think texting is one of the greatest inventions ever. I don't have to talk to anyone on the phone unless it's absolutely necessary, how fantastic is that! Even worse than talking on the phone is video calls. I have one mate of mine always video calls me & gets annoyed when I don't answer. I'm like "why the fuck would I want to look at your big fat head & talk to you on my phone when I can just text you instead". He still does it though. 😂

I'm proud to say I have been to exactly zero bitcoin conferences. I have learned everything I know about bitcoin from reading, listening to podcasts, & watching videos. All the money I would have spent on conference tickets, hotels, & airfares has been spent on bitcoin instead. Stay humble, stack sats 👍

If it's a common name then the security/border will surely take that into account. I assume your friend doesn't share the same birthdate as the Jan 6th rioter & certainly won't have the same passport number. I don't see why he'd get that much hassle, doesn't make sense esp. with a common name
