Yeah some people are reporting Alby is down? But we use AlbyHub and I was able to zap someone, so I'm not sure what's up!
As someome very focused on bringing non-Bitcoin communities here, I do think there's room for both.
Primal has done a great job, for example, marketing themselves as a "social wallet" and I think they are a good way to onboard people who are interested in crypto.

That's one of the awesome things about Nostr, we can each play to our strengths to attract different groups of people. I think it's going to take all of these approaches to win, and I'm glad there are people covering all sides!

So Codeberg just decided to interpret a stupid, annoying, two-worded spam attack as a far-right attack against their far-left values and Codeberg takes this as a chance to promote a "fight against right-wing forces" (words cited from their blog post https://archive.ph/bvBt0 )
I thought by hosting my projects on Codeberg instead of Github I would support independence and free-speech. But since Codeberg now clearly shows that they are against free-speech, I need to adapt. My projects (especially Nitropage) primary goal is about free-speech and I don't wanna risk Codeberg activists shutting up my repositories, because of right-wing political content published with Nitropage.

(I know self-hosting also exists. I'd actually have a Gitea instance, but basically all people are too lazy to register on it and I get absolute-zero interaction on that thing, apart from spam bots 🙄)

It looks you actually recently had a break between posts that was longer than 24 hours. We do have a few hours grace period baked in, but even still they were too far apart 🥲

Of course there's stuff we still need to improve on and build! But every feature we're still missing, every bug that needs to be fixed in our apps, every improvement to UX we can make, every cool client yet to be developed... At the end of the day, it's all in service of attracting and keeping users. They should always be top of mind. #GrowNostr
