After browsing the bajillion types and brands of something-grippy-on-the-sole-so-you-donโt-slip socks on Amazon, I bought a pair.
These are them and they fit well (Iโm a size 8 shoe in their size Small sock) and feel good. Tread is light (not big button knobby things that dig into your foot with every step) and effective- feel much safer walking on the tiles and doing my exercises.

Implemented the code npub.pro sent me as a Christmas gift to make some updates to the theme Iโm using: darker area behind main nav (desktop) and a block of text on the Home page so I could add some intro text and contact info.
Worked like a charm. Nostr devs are the best!!!

Had my first session with a personal fitness trainer yesterday. Focusing on strengthening my feet, mobility, and flexibility. My mom is 80+ and still walking the dog every morning up a mountain road, so I want to be that way in another 30 years, too.
This morning I did the foot exercises, warm-up routine, and balance exercises.
Donโt feel quite as bad as the meme depicts, but there are definitely some muscles asking WTF?!?!?!

So much self-promotion advice to help creatives gain an audience so you can sell your art/writing/creative work revolves around social media and the need for constant content to feed the algorithms.
Putting in all that promotion work of what you plan to do (and the constant feedback on something thatโs not in its final form) AND doing the actual creative work gets exhausting. Also, if the feedback is negative, you can question what youโre doing and possibly abandon something wonderful.
Yet another reason I love Nostr - so many posts are sharing what folks have Done. ๐
