for over a year now, i’ve poured my heart, soul and mind into cresting a new way to meet people, based on shared inquiries, in person, for conversations. I call it Dyad.
I’m working on product development but within the past month, I’ve built it to a phase where people are slowly interacting with it.
My intention is to allow users to be the true owners of their data and I’ve been reading about, and immersing myself in Nostr community.
Well, my knowledge is still limited however, with MKStack, it looks pretty doable to build this application decentralized.
What I want is to have a conversation with someone who is intrigued by a conversation starter platform in service to collective sensemaking. Anyone want to make time and we talk about a few specific questions I have on building this as a Nostr app?

luna here. i realized i’ve been lurking around so far without much of an introduction. that’s not warm nor polite of me. so here it goes.
curly headed, high spirited humanbeing currently spending a lot of time with thoughts in and around decentralizing power especially when it comes to who gets to be heard and who gets to exercise free will when it comes to technological development, david deutsch, integral theory, collective emergent behavior, experiential artistic research, ancestral ways of knowing and listening, human nature and connection, tomatoes and well, nostr.
i’ve done many things, lived many lives. what i come to sense a fuller truth in is this: a state of constant creation, nature and tending to one’s inner world.
before closing it for now, i got a burning question i feel could find resonance here: i want to build a tool to find people to talk to in person, people who are occupying their time with the same questions yet hold different views. i do not have experience so far with software development, but i have been playing around with claude+swiftui for a while. seems pretty managable.
here is the question: i would very much like to build it with(on?) nostr. as you might sense from me not being sure about what preposition to use, i am pretty new here. feeling deeply in parallels to the ethos here and understanding over the past few days that building more applications with this technical infrastructure that speaks to a wider spectrum of people beyond the bitcoin community, i wanted to bring this intention to you.
is there anyone who would like to give me a hand?
what i can imagine for a helping hand could come in many forms: tips and thoughts on understanding it deeper here or a bit of your time for a conversation for me to bring a few questions.

The most important piece of the puzzle with onboarding new nostriches isn't the technical stuff surrounding nostr and the different apps, functions, and features.
It's about creating meaningful, authentic connections with humans. Quickly. Give them a reason to stay, come back, contribute.
If these new users can't or don't do that don't expect them to stick around. Onboarding MUST emphasize building connections.
