"Freedom of speech is being able to tell someone else something they don't want to hear." "No matter what you say, someone is going to be offended." "Once you realize that politicians are not altruistic, and that they're in politics for themselves and their own personal gain, then everything makes sense." "No one is above the law." "Have you ever met a poor politician?"

I just mute them...and then, over time, my mute list grows and my spam decreases significantly.

I also tend to focus on content from my "Follows" and "Tribe" where I know there's always great content to read. 😃

"Woke up on a groovy Tuesday

Everything is not the same"

Well, except my Raktajino (for which I'm quite grateful)

LOL - good coders are RELENTLESS workers (well, like all artists really). Part of that is loving what you do--and if you do, it's easy to put in the hours.

The corollary of course is that if you don't love it (be it coding or any other endeavor) then it's just a "job" -- and you'll also then never be really good at it.

And unfortunately that describes so many--working 9-5 at something they don't love, and being only average at best.

Talented coders are truly remarkable people - coding is much more of an art than a science. Yes, there's the "technical" pieces and all the syntax and such that has to be correct--but the essence of code is creativity--being able to create a vision out of nothing.

And that creativity--the art of coding--is what has always impressed me. Remarkable stuff--

Well, and there's #coffeechain of course...

The platform will grow over time--I'm confident of that--and people will develop relationships with like-minded folks. Somewhere along the way you'll get blocked (and that's ok) but others will stick with you.

Those lasting friendships are the ones that are valuable.

Well...banjo for one 😃 -- have already met some interesting musical folks here on Nostr!

Everyone has their own personal interest - just be willing to share! 😃

The February 2024 issue of my public newsletter is now available:

https://www.lynalden.com/february-2024-newsletter/

It focuses on ongoing fiscal-vs-monetary forces, emerging signs of economic reacceleration, and the investing implications.

Ah...great Batman quote:

"There is a difference between you and me. We both looked into the abyss, but when it looked back at us, you blinked."

"Monday, Monday, can't trust that day..."

But I can trust a good Raktajino! 😃

I typically keep a phone until the battery won't hold a charge (so not worth anything for a trade-in) and consequently have a few laying around.

Sundays with coffee are the best day of the week.

Why should I use bitcoin?

• Transfer money easily through the internet, without having to

trust third parties.

• Third parties can't prevent or control your transactions.

• Be safe from the unfair monetary policies of the monopolistic

central banks and the other risks of centralized power over a

money supply. The limited inflation of the bitcoin system's

money supply is distributed evenly (by CPU power) throughout

the network, not monopolized to a banking elite.

• Bitcoin's value is likely to increase as the growth of the

bitcoin economy exceeds the inflation rate - consider bitcoin

an investment and start running a node today!

Fascinating reading into some of Satoshi's thoughts during the nascent stages of Bitocin's development.
