God Is Fiction

God is not a necessity for religion. Buddhism does not believe in God, Jainism does not believe in God. So try to understand, because in the West it is a problem.

You are aware only of three religions which are all rooted in Judaism: Christianity, Judaism and Mohammedanism. All three believe in God. So you are not aware of Buddha – he never believed in God.

I am reminded of H.G.Wells, his statement about Gautam Buddha. He said, “He is the most godless person, yet the most godly.”

A godless person, and godly? Do you think there is any contradiction?

There is no contradiction. Buddha never believed in God, there was no need. He was so utterly fulfilled that his whole fulfillment became a fragrance around him.

Mahavira never believed in God, yet his life was as divine as life can be.

So when I say God is a fiction, please do not misunderstand me.

God is a fiction but godliness is not a fiction; that is a quality. “God” is a person…as a person it is a fiction.

There is no God sitting in heaven creating the world. And do you think a God would create such a mess that you call the world? Then what is left for the Devil?

If you think that God is an entirely separate entity from reality, sure, then yes. However, God dwells in he who follows the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I don't think Jesus was a mystic. I think he was trying to explain to everyone who believed God was some unattainable entity external to reality that no, you are part of the creative process that God uses to provide. Jesus was bringing the good news that we should take responsibilities for ourselves and do so with self-love, love for creation, and love for our fellow man.

There are a lot of ways to interpret a philosopher, and if you don't have the context, you are indeed very likely to completely miss the point. I think that almost every Christian misses the point.

If you are big into password management apps like #KeePass then you can take full advantage of the security of the database by configuring your key derivation settings.

KeePass 2.x supports databases encrypted with AES and ChaCha20 and key derivation with AES-KDF or Argon2. Argon2 is designed to be especially resistant to brute forcing which makes it tougher on ASICs, GPUs and memory when performing the derivation. This means to get a similar amount of speed of attempts in a second they would need to have far more expensive resources in comparison to other functions.

Argon2d and Argon2id are options in KeePassDX, but Argon2id is generally recommended.

In #KeePassDX you can go to Settings -> Security -> Key derivation function to use Argon2 in your database.

A good configuration is the default. However if you want to be overkill, then you could make the effort to make it take about 1 second or more to save the database or unlock it. It's up to you to configure these values and go up slowly. Try to keep memory and parallelism around the same as the defaults.

Sadly KeePassDX doesn't have an option to calculate how many iterations it can perform in a second unlike the original KeePass2 on Windows or other apps.

In my example my Pixel 6a uses 80 transformation rounds, 32MiB memory and 4 threads parallelism.

Part of the reason I shut my mining llc down was due to fear of having to get an msb & such to legally provide mining services.

Praying its not a complete tear and just a partial tear so I would not need surgery 🙏 #footstr . Weirdest injury I ever had. It felt like someone stepped on the back of my foot and I felt a pop but no one was behind me. Swelling but not a lot of pain. Anyone have an Achilles injury here before?

Already figuring out what I can continue to do at the gym if it is a complete tear. Shit like this does help you appreciate little things we do everyday like walking.
