Ah ok..so postmodernist?
Interesting..curious what makes you interpret Jesus' that way? I see nothing in the text, literary context, or sociohistorical context about self-love, creative process, etc. Genuinely curious, particularly since you think most Christians (including me I guess) are missing something?

Its a shame the fertility rate is dropping. More people must and should marry and have children if society is to survive.
Agree calm self-reflection is good. But, isn't Jesus' quote here more referencing the importance of petitioning God for our needs, rather than self-reflection? The object of our asking, seeking, and knocking for entrance is God, not self.
"Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened....[earthly parents don't spurn their kids requests for sustenance]...how much more will your Father in heaven give good fits to those who ask him." - Matthew 7:7.

Christ is risen. He is risen indeed.
You might be responsible for paying unrealized cap gains tax in the future if that ever becomes a thing. You could be legally required to give your Bitcoin to "approved custodians". If you "lost" it you could still potentially be on the hook for that or at least bring extra unwanted attention and scrutiny.
I'm thinking worst cases, but who knows? Maybe it won't ever get quite as bad as that, but I value the peace of mind of knowing that it isn't even on the table when you acquire without KYC.
Not even mentioning the possibility of $5 wrench attacks when the general public can potentially see how much Bitcoin you've purchased

unrealized cap gain tax thats an interesting idea I hadnt thought about but wouldnt put past lawmakers
appreciate and agree. The question I grapple with: *when* the government gets my info will it matter. As you said its a gamble.
bro you get my money and you get healthier...whats my incentive on this?
Hah fair enough although I prob wouldnt characterize it as "laundering" prob more like "securing"

Has anyone concluded buying #nokyc #bitcoin is worth the hassle and premium? Strike is so damn quick and easy whereas robosats/bisq are a bit more time intensive.
I figure if the government starts attacking bitcoin by forcing nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle to doxx my utxos or effectively bans coinjoined UTXOs then neither my kyc nor my nokyc bags will be worth much anyway. And by that point maybe fediments/lightning/coinjoin will be so robust that it wont even matter.
Am I missing something?

May we all be free and belong to no one, that we might make ourselves slaves to all.
