Amethyst has a heap of features that I don't use.

I use Amethyst on Android. I have the option of using the native Google/Android notification service, or a third party service. I use ntfy as my notification service.

I wonder if notifications not working is an iOS problem?

Yes.

A site like that needs accurate reader counts to sell their advertising so they employ a multitude of methods to ensure that you reading the page, when, from where, your device, and how long you were on the page is all recorded.

You can dramatically reduce the metadata they collect about you by using add blockers and cookie cleaners, but to be completely private you have to use specialized OS's like GrapheneOS.

If you are an investigive journalist or the Russian Opposition leader you'd definitely want to be using GrapheneOS.

For regular people, you can get a reasonable level of privacy on a regular phone with some tools and extensions pretty easily.

Nah, he won't need to.

The only threat to his power is the Supreme Court, so, it'll be the first to go.

He'll start with Clarence Thomas. He'll have him arrested for corruption and the Democrats will cheer and the Republicans will remain silent.

Then he'll have Samuel Alito arrested for corruption and the Democrats will cheer while the Republicans remain silent.

And then he'll claim that these two arrests are proof absolute that the entire Supreme Court is corrupt and have them all arrested while the Democrats look on in stunned silence and the Republicans cheer.

At that point he'll appoint himself as final arbitrator of the law and his elevation to Emperor will be complete. While the Republicans cheer and Democrats are rounded up and sent to work camps.

Would the universe even exist if we were not here to contemplate it?

You'd be a very special person if you could figure that shit out beforehand.

Unfortunately, it's only hindsight that that puts things into perspective. You just have to accept that self doubt is a defense mechanism, and not a flaw. Just as impulsiveness is an opportunity mechanism, and not a flaw.

Sometimes you miss out on that tasty treat. Sometimes, you get burnt reaching for that tasty treat. That's how life works.

Self doubt is also how you improve yourself. You need self doubt to counter impulsive behavior.

The trick is to get self doubt and impulsive behavior to balance themselves most of the time. You need both...in moderation.

KYC is a USA law that companies must abide by, or risk prison.

If your friend can't comply with USA law and provide the necessary identification and source of income documents, there's nothing any law abiding USA company or person can do to help them.

If your friend is a USA citizen, and believes they have met all legal requirements for KYC and provided the necessary identification and source of income documents, then lawyer up.

If your friend is not a USA citizen, your friend is shit out of luck if they can't meet KYC rules for foreigners.

Well, you're not helping the network, you're hurting it. Why don't you do some actual research, learn some basic economics and how the modern monetary theory actually works.

Because all you're demonstrating is a complete lack of education and understanding of the systems you say you're working against, as you commit your time, equipment, money to working for them because you have no clue what you are doing.

You're literally working for, and enriching the very corporations you say you hate. And worst still, is you're trying to convince others to do the same and give their money to greedy corporations.

How is any of that helping anyone other than corporations? You've fallen for corporate propaganda and you are feeding the beast.

So, you're either ignorant, or a Psyop?

Ignorance can be fixed by a vist to your local library. Start with Adam Smith's book The Wealth of Nations.

If you're going to fight against a system, you absolutely must first learn in extreme detail, how that system works.

But, you'd still lose money because it'll cost you more to mine it, than to buy it.

Doesn't matter if your computer is sitting idle. You're literally just giving money to multi-national corporations that pay no taxes and are happy to kill you.

Why are you supporting multi-national corporations? Why are you telling people to give money to them rather than buying Monero?

I don't understand your motivation here? Do you want more people to buy Monero, or give their money to corporations, because that's all you're doing is putting money in their pockets and short changing Monero users.

It's like, you're pretending to support Monero or Crypto, but what you're really doing is just telling people to buy overpriced electricity rather than Monero.

You're 'advice' is literally bad for Monero but ensuring that Monero is not economically viable.

I think you're a Psyop shill account that's actually trying to harm Monero.

Or, just learn some maths, quantitative methods and some basic economics and stop giving people bad advice.
