Hear a lot of people pushing multisig as the ONLY answer. This is ridiculous. Don’t underestimate the power of a single sig Bitcoin only hardware wallet paired with 24 words and a paraphrase. I love and use multisig, but people shouldn’t be scared into it. Everyone should be given unbiased and accurate info and then allowed to decide for themselves. If you’re just starting out, do not jump straight to multisig. you’re highly likely to shoot yourself in the foot by using something you don’t understand.

With Privacy.com disposable one time use debit cards and burner ProtonMail email addresses you can purchase things online mostly anonymously. For advanced users also setup some sort of mail forwarding so you don’t leak your home address.

These people are the MOST stuck in the fiat system and benefit enormously from it. They will likely be among the last to adopt. Even just Firefox (especially Firefox Focus on iPhone) is better and that’s probably easiest. Brave is good. For very sensitive stuff maybe you use Tor.

Easy free/low cost digital sovereignty steps:
Delete all apps and software you don’t use at least monthly.
Go to privacy options in all that remain and increase to max.
Delete more apps, you still don’t need them all. Especially delete google chrome and find another browser, TikTok, and any Facebook product.
Get a proton mail, don’t even migrate fully-just try it out.
Try a VPN you can pay with cash or BTC such as Mullvad or iVPN.
Enable 2FA on everything, never via SMS if possible. A FIDO key is ideal, such as Yubikey. If on android consider the Aegis authentication app-open source.
You’ll start off just wanting privacy, end up getting more productive and happy in the process or purging tech that is stealing from you.

Doesn’t it feel more open and accepting to any historically marginalized group to just include them and how they impacted society in existing history classes? This separate class approach feels like it continues to force them into a “different” and “other” bucket. I don’t have a strong opinion here, just an initial reaction and open to changing my mind. I think if it was an advanced college/grad school class where people are at the detailed and specialized learning point of their academic career it makes more sense to me.
