It’s a good time too get ammo since the current administration and media cycle isn’t making people hoard it and run the prices up at the moment. Sounds like an interesting class. I’ve done a similar urban SERE class and also got the NRA pistol instructor cert under my belt now, but there’s always more to learn. I like the smell of spent ammo in the outdoors.

And even this clip isn’t as bad as what I saw said by people I knew in real life. Vileness spewed online and yet pretending to be friendly to me, mainly because I kept my mouth shut and committed lies of omission about not getting the stuff.

Right now it’s keto meatloaf with (obviously) bacon wrapping. I just baked up three loaves of it so I have plenty of quick eats for the coming week. Finding low carb quick eats that are simple and fast is a challenge. Also, tuna salad with stick blender mayo, heavy on the garlic, with everglades tomatoes, diced onions and pickled veggies from the garden and some chopped pecans for extra crunch - on a homemade keto tortilla. I got a long way to go to make decent tortillas though.

That dragon tail radish is about a third of the size it might get to. I’ve found that the pods start getting too tough once they get to about the thickness of a pencil. Pods saved for seed can get to about 20” long. Do you think it might be slugs getting your basil, and hiding under the fabric?

One of the best explanations of this absurdity was from Douglas Murray when he said words to the effect of what they are really saying is “I identify as LOOK AT ME!”

Thanks to this idea, I do a Sunday top ten list where I sit down with my coffee and write out 10 things I want done the coming week. That way I find it easier to manage things that usually take longer than a day to do. When I did the three things, I got to where the things were so small and repeatable that big stuff wasn’t getting done.

I really do have a friend who’s been there, she might get a kick out of such a “souvenir.”

What is your Babayaga?- the Boogyman. What are you afraid of? Most of us remain afraid of things that will most likely never happen. Gaze into the abyss until the abyss gazes back at you. ⁣ #grownostr

That quote Peterson often uses is by Nietzsche. He, and Carl Jung are among the philosophers he quotes pretty frequently

So much more than CoVid fits this. Wait till these idiots have to come to terms with the bullshit around climate change, CBDCs, etc.

Yep. Truth has finite boundaries, lies have none. Bitter truth seldom holds up in someone’s mind once a sweet well crafted lie gets in there. Just like with people sucked into cults and toxic relationships, the people telling them the truth about the matter get pushed away since the lies are so much sweeter and made specifically for their targets to avoid inner turmoil.

Cool story but does it seem like it was written by a bot? I read another article on there with a catchy headline and it too had the same repetitive format problems. Both articles had some sort of non-seqitur repeats of the story line that were very oddly formatted
